I bought a case with formulas from another vendor, and the pattern started to erase after a week will this happen with the formula case too?

No. I bought this case 2 months ago, and it is still the same.

Do you have to put the keyboard cover on too in order to use the case?

No, its is a separate piece that lays on top of your keyboard.

Will this inhibit the fan ? So it won’t overheat?

The fan runs as it should. Have not had a problem with overheating. The keyboard cover became useless within a year. The screen protector has become bubbly and funky after a year and a half
