Great product! One of the only smart devices I can easily connect to! For some reason other smart plugs can't connect to my 5G wifi router, even though this one is also 2.4GHz. Takes a little bit of effort to create and account and setup the Gosund app, but adding devices afterwards is easy. Straightforward connection with Google Home too. This is the only smart plug that I'll get going forward.

Because of my firewall, the verification email to get the verification setup code couldn't be sent to my Gmail. Had to open a yahoo email account and it worked fine. It was a smooth setup after that. Paired to my Google home easily. I love this thing.

I already had the smart home app on my phone due to a smart ceiling fan in my office so it literally took 10 seconds to get this up and running. I’m using it to control a bug zapper outside and the wireless internet is no problem at all. It comes on at 8:15 pm and turns off at 3:00 to kill mosquitoes while I sleep. Absolutely perfect smart device at a super low price. How is this priced so low I have no idea. I would recommend all day to friends and family. Love it.

Very useful. Has a companion app which works. The app is kind of annoying with some advertising bloat, but I've never had any issues with the functionality.

I have had two of these smart plugs for years and when I knew I needed another one, came right back to my previous purchase to place a new order. Yes you need a third-party app but you can sync that app with your Google Home app and you never need to touch their app again once it’s set up. They can be a little finicky when you connect a device using the slow blink. But when you change the connection to the fast blink by pressing and holding the power button, it connects quickly. My favorite part with these is I pack them up with my Christmas decorations and a year later plug them back in and all of the settings have been saved and work like they’ve never been unplugged. They’ve gone through two different homes and I’ve had my originals for at least four years. Will continue to get these as I need more.

You can’t link this outlet directly to Alexa, you have to install the ghome app, register, and then link the app to Alexa. It shouldn’t take multiple apps plus supplying personal information to control a simple socket.The socket works fine and is priced right.
