I give the WiZ Remote 5 stars for its usefulness and great value. It's a handy addition to my smart lighting setup, although I wish it had more buttons. I primarily use these remotes with WLED.The WiZ Remote offers smart dimming, allowing me to adjust the brightness level easily through the app or voice control. Setting it up is a breeze, as it works with my existing 2.4GHz Wi-FiThe remote provides smart control, enabling me to manage my lights from anywhere using the app or voice commands. It's convenient for inviting family members and guests to control the lights without altering my settings.

Works just fine with the app. I have it set that when I turn my lamp on with my hand it comes on to whatever the last color setting was.I have this remote next to the lamp. If I want to change to any of the 4 presets (or brighten/dim) you just click a button. You don't have to have your phone on or anything like that. It actually just works.Feels just like the Amazon Fire TV remote---except this thing's batteries do NOT die every 2 weeks.

I really like this remote, especially that it has 4 buttons to activate the quick scenes that you set up in the Wiz app. The only thing that I wish they would change is the button layout so this could be used as a wall switch. Yes, you can get a caddy to keep this on a wall, or use a Velcro strip to mount it, but the on/off buttons are too small to work well as a traditional switch. Beyond that, this remote is great! It definitely beats having to dig out my phone, and more importantly, it allows other people to control the light's without needing the app.P.S. It took me a little while to figure this out, but the nightlight button only works if you turn the lights on first. It's the same way through the app, though, so it seems like a limitation of the Wiz lights themselves and not the remote. Seems like an odd quirk, but it's easy to get around once you understand that.

The Wiz remote light switch works with Wiz Smart Bulbs to allow you to turn them off and on and set one of four programs. The remote is the size of most remotes for TVs etc. and has a few buttons on the face. You can connect it to a single light bulb or to all the bulbs in a room. (When you install Wiz Smart Bulbs you can choose a room that they are in and then control all the bulbs at once based on the room.)The basic function is on or off. However there is a button for "night light" mode and a + and - control for brightness and four other buttons. Each of the four buttons can be programmed to set the light(s) to a pre-determined setting such as daylight, warm white, relaxing, etc. When the bulbs are installed and connected to the app you just go into the app and add the remote switch. Then while in the app you choose what each of the four customizable buttons does. It makes it easy to choose from one of the presets.After connecting everything up (bulbs and remote switch) which takes only minutes and choosing the programs for the lights the switch is ready to use and you don't have to use the app to control those settings. However all the same things could be done using the app on your smart phone.The one drawback and the reason for four stars instead of five is the the remote can be used for only one room. If you have set up multiple rooms and want to use a remote for each room you will need to have a remote for each room, you can press a button and switch the remote to a different room.I have found the remote to be reliable, it has never failed to control the lights in the room we set it up in. Connectivity is great and easy to set up. The price is good (so purchasing more than one isn't a big expense but mark the in some way so you know which goes where!

I just wish it worked for multiple bulbs. That's my only gripe. Otherwise, super easy to set up and I velvroed it to my wall in liu. Lieu? Lou of a light switch.

Good little remote for Wiz Lights. You can program various scenes and it works perfect. I can get some distance away from the lights and it still works.

Had this about a year and it just quit working. Batteries were still close to max but swapped them out anyway. After replacing the batteries the led blinks exactly once very briefly then nothing. No longer discoverable by the app. Its just dead. Another remote of the same model connects every time. Seems to be poor quality control. I won't be buying more.
