Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill Complete Cookbook: 150 Recipes to Sear, Sizzle, and Crisp

We bought a Ninja Foodie XL recently and I quickly realized I needed a cookbook designed for the Grill to be able to cook with it. The instructions that come with the Foodie are not near enough to make good dishes. After reviewing several Ninja cookbooks - I decided to order this one and another one by a different Author. OMG..this book is fantastic. I have not read a cookbook from cover to cover in many years. I just couldn't put it down and was so impressed at the simplicity of Mellanie's recipes.So I dog-ear several favorite recipes and make my shopping list. I have cooked a recipe from her book every night for 2 weeks. I am even more amazed with this Ninja Grill and feel like I don't need any other instrument to cook with in my kitchen. We have been quite surprised that EVERY recipe I have made has turned out exactly as she pictures, describes and even more tasty than we thought they would be.Mellani has a slight twist that leans to the Asian, Vietnamese and Phillipino style cooking which I was pleased with. Those recipes have been right on with very authentic flavors and likeness to similar recipes.On a scale of 1-10 - I give this recipe book a 15! You will not be disappointed. The other book I purchased that was written by different author - has been a disappointment! I doubt that I will use many of those recipes in the other book.If you are hesitating on whether to buy the Ninja Grill - don't!If you have it and want a great cookbook - GET THIS ONE!I am not being paid to write this review.

Had I had a chance to physically take a look at this cookbook, I would not have ordered it. The collection of recipes is very disappointing; very few photos, and the ones they did provide are very poor quality and look like low-grade photo copies. Waste of money. You're better off getting air fryer recipes from the internet.Not recommended.

The index stopped at "C" - peaches and cake skewers. Since "vanilla scones" is the last recipe, I'm sure the index should go thru "V" at least. But the recipes look good, ao I gave it 3 stars. It's just going to be a time-consuming pain to go thru and reconstruct the index, which should have come with the book.

I don't like recipe books that don't show you what the final product looks like - this book, while big and full of recipes, has only a handful of pictures. We have purchased several Ninja grill cookbooks and this is the best of them all but still lacking when it comes to pictures. 3 stars for lack of pictures of many recipes.

I like looking at the different recipes because it gives me ideas on how to cook other things. The bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos are definitely awesome. The onboard temp probe is a game changer. My salmon and burgers have been excellent. It nice to grill indoors and not outside since we live in a very cold climate and don't usually grill in the winter.
