These are security bits (with the center hole) even though you can't tell from the picture
These ended up being just what I needed, although I had to take a gamble in ordering them. I needed a 5-point T20 security bit to remove the mass airflow sensor on my daughter's Volvo. Nowhere in town had such a weird item in stock, so my next stop was Amazon. I couldn't tell from the product pictures or item description whether "tamper-proof" actually meant these were security bits with the center hole or whether that was just a fancy term for the torx configuration. I took a gamble because this set was 1/2 the cost of the others available, and I only needed one bit. Voila! It appears this is the same set that is listed for twice the price - just with a less-descriptive listing.

Made in Taiwan! Great stuff
Worked for opening my bose electronics and learning bose makes things unfixable. But these are great!EDIT: I came back and noticed other people saying they aren't made in Taiwan. They must have switched what they send you with the ad. Cause I got the red strip in the photo in a box that said made in ROC (Taiwan) back in October 2021. Anything Taiwan ships, gets shipped by china*. So china* (AKA West Taiwan) makes Taiwan put Republic of china*. PRC is mainland. china* is getting so desperate they are using made in Taiwan advertising to sell their stuff. Shameless.

Good enough
Not top quality, but good enough for the amount of force on these smaller bits. They don't have the best fit in bolt heads, but they are acceptable for the price.

re: Leatherman Wave tool
I recently found a Wave in a ditch. The blades/tools were almost unusable because of the factory tightness of the hinge screws. There is not a fingernail out there that can deal with them. I'm guessing they use air motors for tightening. No one in quality control ever tries to open them. My Torx screws are the 5 pointed variety used in German cars. Amazon was the only source; auto parts stores drew a blank look from workers. They never heard of 5 points. Anyhow, with two sets, I was able to restore usability to the knife/device. Now to find the owner.

Great for old Leathermans as well!
I know these are automotive, but I bought two sets for some old Leatherman multi tools and they both are fantastic. The Leatherman SideClip and Original Wave use the 5-point torx security bits and I needed two T10 5pt TSBs to fix them. Purchased to repair a Leatherman SideClip and Original Wave. Fit well and was able to apply a lot if torque on the bits. Worth every penny! Never know when you'll need a funky driver bit to repair something!None of the bits in the sets were drilled incorrectly. I may have gotten lucky, as some reviews said they were off center. But, the ones I got were centered nicely!

They look and fill good, but they are not
They look and fill good, but they are not. Let me explain. I bought this set because they have the size T50, I have all the others except this one. Whenever I have need them they don't fit, my other set fit perfectly. They are slightly bigger, so don't fit. If you have a screw which is T40, let say, the bit label as T40 won't fit because is slightly bigger and the T30 will be too small. The first time I notice it I thought the problem was the screw, but when I used my other set I realize that these Torx bits simply are bad. Don't buy them.

these were low priced and appear to be well made, time will tell...
I am an ASE certified L1 Master Technician who specializes in German cars. These 5-point tamper-proof Torx, oddly enough, are required for removing/installing certain fasteners on German vehicles such as the Mass Air Flow sensor on my 2005 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T. The shank is 1/4" hex which fits nicely into most interchangeable-tip screwdrivers' handles... They seem to be of decent quality; same set in SnapOn brand probably costs $40 or so. These should hold up for the frequency in which I'll be using them. And lastly, the Prime shipping was speedy as usual.
