Hubby is in love! 2017 GMC Sierra 4 door PU
He couldn't say enough about these. Bought to ease the ride while pulling the 5th wheel. Easy install, made a big difference in the bounce while towing.

BUY IT.
Put this on a 2020 Silverado 1500 Custom TrailBoss. Double Cab, 4.3, 6L80, 4x4.To preface, all hardware comes loosely installed. I had no missing parts. It’s worth the money if you don’t want to go with helper bags. It’s a poor man’s overload spring and is worth every penny. No squat. If you’re towing ANY kind of trailer, especially with the trail boss suspension, buy it. If you don’t have a sway bar, buy it. If you DO have a sway bar. Buy it.First off, this was extremely easy to install. The instructions were clear and concise. I was done in 30 minutes. Ride quality with no trailer is unaffected (weird, but I’ve put thousands of miles on this truck since install), and the rear ride height was raised by 1”. Even hauling a single axle enclosed trailer, you can tell the difference. It’s soft when you need it to be. It doesn’t squat under load. It does the job it’s intended for, and does it extremely well. I combined this with the Hellwig sway bar kit, and let me tell you…Chevrolet needs to pay attention and take notes.

Nice improvement in ride quality & handling
Added to Silverado 1500 LT Z71 we plan to use for towing a ~5,000 lb. single axle travel trailer, to minimize squat. Haven’t towed yet, but just driving on winding roads the improved ride quality is instantly notable. Body roll is gone. Going through curves feels like it’s locked on to train tracks. Ride is not harsh at all, just quality stiff.

RAS is an absolute game changer.
Second pair. Wouldn’t own a half ton without them. If you’re pulling a camper w we’re the a half ton these are an absolute game changer. Will buy again if my truck gets wrecked.

Made in the USA quality!
Arrived quickly and came with a sticker! Installed these on my 05 Silverado 1500HD. They were easy to install in a short amount of time with minimal tools. They lifted the truck a good bit in the rear with them on the 40% setting but not complaining because it sits perfectly level. Unloaded ride quality is great, truck rides smooth and handles well in corners and it has less sway than before. Im excited to see what happens when we load up the camper and the car hauler.

Small issues but worth the hiccups for the performance gains!
I installed this for trailering my walkaround boat (roughly 6500lbs package weight with a full tank of gas and loaded for a long day of fishing), this helper suspension package has transformed my truck. Before my trailer would noticeably squat my pickup, but now it barely sits down at all with everything hooked up!The installation wasn’t super easy, but it was straightforward. Cranking/stretching the spring to the appropriate tension was the worst part, it took quite a bit of force and then the hex-headed end of the bolts actually broke from the force (the bolt head is a female hex around 1/2”, but then has a male-to-male insert epoxied in the hole, and the epoxy separated on both sides but didn’t stop the installation from being completed).Everything fit my truck perfectly (2014 Sierra 1500 4x4).Performance-wise this has transformed my trailering experience and daily driving, the truck rides more comfortably and handles like a dream either empty or fully loaded down!I am a bit hesitant on the long-term durability though, as the same spring-tensioning bolts mentioned earlier are already showing signs of surface rust. It looks like they’re made of iron, and have turned orange in only a few months. I plan on cleaning them up and spraying a protective coating on them since my installation is complete and should not need adjustment anytime soon. The corrosion does not seem to be an issue right now as it’s just surface rust and not structural, though for the price paid I’d have thought there wouldn’t be any signs of deterioration in the few months I’ve had them installed.Even with the issues I’ve found, I’d still say they’re worth the price if you’re going to be pulling a 1 ton or heavier trailer with a 1/2 ton pickup truck, or loading the bed 75% of its rated weight capacity.Would buy again!

Stability! Stability! Stability!
Really works well with controlling swaying on the highway, also just improved overall handling!

Was thinking of suspension airbags, but this is better for what I need
Towing a trailer with a tongue weight of 850lb which is is within limit, but makes the truck sack at the end - this is much better with almost no impact, and permanently installed a super quality ride.Took under an hour to install myself.
