Will it work with the Harbor freight rotary tool?

The Foredom website shows that this handpiece accepts a key tip flex shaft, The Harbor Freight Flex Shaft Carver, that I actually own. has a key tip flex shaft much like the Foredom. This is the same handpiece I will be purchasing for my Harbor freight tool. I would guess the folks making these tools for Harbor Freight may have done a little copying of the Foredom tools.

Will this work with the Dremel Fortiflex 9100?

I have it on mine. It also works on the harbor freight version too

How much end play does this have? I'd like to use it for sharpening end mills.

As the Foredom #44T handpieces are considered "hand tools", they are not manufactured to the precision of a machine tool normally used for regrinding end mills. Foredom does not publish the runouts or end-play of their handpieces. If you are sharpening end mills by hand, the handpiece end-play is going to be the least of your worries. A skilled tool maker can sharpen the ends of end mills on a pedestal grinder or the like by hand. But, but sharpening the flutes by hand would be a different matter. Check out "Cuttermaster" online for such a tool grinder.

I need a recipricating hand piece that will work with my older Foredom flexible shaft unit! Do you have a good one that will last??
