First impressions are great, well packaged and a cool design. I've been using it for a few months now to take meeting minutes and it works really well. I've used it on remote meetings and in person, and it picks up the voices clearly. Main gripe is the battery life doesn't get a full day if I'm in back-to-back meetings, so I need to charge it over my lunch break which usually gets me to the end of the day. Heaps of storage space and easy to download to my PC or playback on the device itself. The interface is a little fiddly as you need to use the +/- & fast-forward/rewind, buttons and return button to cycle through menu options, and the screen is small, so I recommend connecting a PC to download and rename the files.

I purchased this a few days ago and can't fault it . It is very handy and easy to use with a one button recorder. Easy to download from recorder to my PC as well.

What a great bit of kit! I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect from a digital voice recorder (the last time I used a dictaphone it used a tape and was about the size of a brick), but I’m really impressed with the V9. What struck me first was the size. It’s small, wonderfully so, easily fits in the palm of my hand so it’ll be ideal to pop in a pocket for those more sensitive recording sessions. Yes, the buttons are small, they have to be, the unit itself is small, but they’re easy enough to use, and the menus are easy to navigate. I really like how you can set the unit to record manually or automatically when it picks up sound, how easy it is to set the quality and/or length of the recording if you so wish, and I’m very impressed with the quality of the playback sound. This unit obviously has a decent microphone. I’ve not tried it with headphones yet, but I don’t expect any problems with that, and I haven’t yet had it hooked up to my PC because, helpfully, the unit arrived fully charged. It also comes with a decent manual and a QuickStart guide. So far, I’m more than happy to recommend my Coconise V9 Digital Voice Recorder.

Happy with the recorder. I wanted a device that was standalone from a phone app, and am impressed with the size, and sound quality. It is more reliable than the cheap recorders you see about, and handy to have without being concerned about it dropping during a recording, or being difficult to carry about.If you are looking for a simple, reliable but cost effective recorder, I would recommend buying this.

This is by far the best value for money sound recorder on Amazon. It is good looking and feels like very high quality materials were used to build it.Pocket size is a big bonus and 64gb for less than £25 is great value. Battery lasts a very long time and it's rechargeable.However, I find the buttons to operate it are a bit small and the functions are not easy to operate. Also, when playing back the recordings I've made, the sound isn't loud enough to hear except in a quiet room.

I've not had this for long, but from trying it out it seems easy to use. It will take me a little while to get used to which button does what, but good to have all the functionality. It's smaller than I expected, but that's not a criticism. It charged quickly and has held its charge. I've set it to voice activated recording and that works well with good recording quality. Easy to open and transfer files on my PC. The charging cable matches that of my phone which is a bonus.

The file transfer rate is terribly slow making this device impractical. The user controls are poor too. Don't be taken by the 64gb memory capacity, that's irrelevant to the usability of the device. The cueing is not good either. Serious lack of options too. Oh, and sometimes the device will start bellowing a siren of sound in your pocket! Don't buy

This mini device is handy for certain situations. Ever considered yourself to be a lewis litt from suits? Its great to have on you for intrinsic moments of thoughts, whether on the tube or walking along your day. Its small and discreet so, can be useful to record various things at random or pre planned. Id advise to purchase it if you are studying or a professional and its great to use in situations of business ie paying bills of the phone/applying for mobile phone contracts. Easy upload to your computer and playback. Its a great 5 starts from me so far.
