Quality tool, and sharp.
I am very pleased with my purchase. Being relatively new to leatherwork, I am very glad to have come across the Owden’s edge beveler.Great value for the price, and seems veryI look forward to adding more Owden’s products and tools to my leatherwork bench.

Beginners, just get these
I started leatherworking about a month ago with the standard cheap bevelers that came with the Amazon "kit" I bought. Even after sharpening, they weren't working well.I assumed it was my technique. Poking around Reddit for answers, someone mentioned that the Owden brand was a great mid-level option.Started with a #3. Immediately bought #2 and #4. These just WORK. Fantastic option for those of us who don't want to spend $75+ on one tool just to have a working item.I say get the #3 and/or #4 for general use. #2 seems like a very fine bevel. Not sure #1 would do anything...See attached video. I tried to show how smooth it is, but the camera angle was a little hard to work with. Hope this helps.

Quality product for the money
Very pleased with this product. It has the feel of quality. It was extremely sharp and easy to use. However it will need to be sharpened on a regular basis and requires a specific tool to do it right. Not sharpening correctly can ruin the tool.

Product didn’t last a year. I bought it in nov 2022 and it stopped working July 2023
Product didn’t last a year. I bought it in nov 2022 and it stopped working July 2023. I tried re sharping it but it still doesn’t work. Very low quality for the price. Do not recommend.
