The package arrived quickly and was in great shape. While installing the new light, one of the screws that holds it to the truck snapped off with very, very minimal force. I figured it was just cheap plastic and installed it without any other problems. Then I noticed the lights wouldn't turn on, checked the bulbs, replaced them and still nothing. I had a friend check it out and he found the wiring harness that came with the light was dead. The sad thing is all of the parts industry is like this, companies selling parts that only work half the time, quality isn't important to them only making sure to get your money.

good price vs NOS or OEM .. but requires some modification to fit .i had a cracked rear lens ..i didn't need the harness so i just needed to replace the outside lens ,as with many other reviewers , i found that the plastic " backing cups "[ for lack of a better term ] that fasten to the truck frame , come already attached to the locating pins . these were a pain to remove , as rarely do the backing sleeves need replacing . but it can be done ,with a little patience .just put a work glove on one hand to hold the piece firmly , then just use a flat heat screwdriverto work the tip into the space between the pieces. then just push the plastic piece off.also , the unit was a bit wider at the base than my original [ 1/4 in.] but with moderate pressurei pushed the base into position to reattach with the 2 screws .one tip = if you leave the unit in the sun for a short while , it will heat the plastic lens to be quite workable.lastly , was a plus to have new bulbs included , so i traded them out for my old ones.shipping was fast - 2 days - i have amazon prime , as i purchase many tools and materials thru it.

100% match on my 2011 Silverado Z71 LT. Kit came with bulbs and wiring harness.Remove two screws, pop out the old tail light. Didn’t have to use the replacement wiring harness, just connected to the new tail light & popped everything back in.Less than 30min swap.

Only issue that I had was the installation. Because the backup light uses a different bulb I had to us the new harness. My truck has a hitch on it and the under mount spare tire. Do to my sure laziness on my part I didn't want to remove these so working under the truck was a little difficult. Just a safety note, when working under your truck like this put on safety glasses. Falling rust and mud and such is common. Other than that the unit was great and well worth the price.

was not the same part as advertised for the one it is supposed to replace on my truck. Have not attempted to install it yet. Don't know if it can modified to fit. Will need to get some help from a knowledgeable mechanic. Will let you know if part can be installed.
