I bought these for our outdoor kitchen, but liked them enough that I put them in the main kitchen. I've had them for a few weeks. They are very sharp when delivered, with no obvious QC issues. They are heavy, if you like a light weight knife, especially the chefs knife these aren't for you. But if you like some heft they are great. I have a vintage carbon steel chefs knife that I regularly use. This is a very old German knife which being carbon steel rusts and stains. But it's got the best feel, and is quite long which I like for shopped salad etc. The Farberware knife is 4" shorter but weighs as much. I use it for anything thats going to stain my better knife, tomatoes, lemons etc. I don't ever put the chefs knife in the dishwasher but I do put the utility knife in. No rust or staining. All in all I recommend this set, its a very good value. There are certainly better knives around for much more money, but for the price of this set you can't go wrong.

Been using these for a month, they're pretty sharp out of the box and easy to sharpen with the tool provided. I have never been able to sharpen knives properly before because it's so hard to get the angle right, but I love the sharpening tool that comes with this set! It was intuitive for me to line up the angle of the handle perpendicular to the counter, follow the directions to get them super sharp. I think with hand washing and proper care they will last a long time. They feel ergonomic in the hand and well balanced. Sturdy, not flimsy feeling. Definitely recommend, for $30 I feel like it's a great deal!

These are great knives for the price. The only complaint is I recommend dulling the 90 degree spine. Ive been cut 3 times by the spine of the knife and 0 times by the blade. The heel was a little dull but the tip was razor sharp. I only really use the chefs knife, but I dig that you get a whole set for peanuts. Not really sure how long the edge will last but seems to be going strong for a month now with veggies

Really nice, sharp set! We’ve hand wash and dried and had no issues with rust at all. The color is nice. It’s not ultra bright white but more soft white. My cabinet are a very light ivory and the handles look really good.

I love this set. Scissors took time to loosen up but I am so glad I tried. They are great! Knives cut so well.

I bought this set a a gift for my daughter. She had mentioned how much she needed some knives. The great thing is that I bought her the same one that she had picked out, and I didn’t know it. Worked out great. She has told me how nice they are, very comfortable to use. The price was pretty good for all you get. Was a perfect gift for her.
