Exactly what I expected it to be. Assembly is actually very easy, but if you are not muscular, count on having a helper - but only due to the weight of the product that needs to be 'wrestled' around. Put it together myself in less than half an hour, My only complaint, and it is minor, was that the countersunk holes for the drawer knobs were not deep enough - I had to deepen the countersinking to get the bolt to catch the knob screw hole. The bed/mattress is very comfortable. The construction of the cabinet is solid and sturdy.

We recently moved into a 2 bedroom condo from a 4 bedroom home. Needed the 2nd "bedroom" to become a space for sewing/drawing and to remain functional as a 2nd bedroom for out-of-town family and other occasional guests. Looked at traditional murphy beds, but saw this design and realized that it would be a great choice for that room. It is an attractive piece, and my only criticism is that the photo makes the furniture appear to be a light grey, when in actuality it is more of a butter cream. We are making that work, but would have preferred the grey.The bed came almost completely assembled. My husband and I were able to put it together in short order. Setting up the bed is easy (see the video that is an option when looking at the details), and our first guests found the bed to be as comfortable as their Tempurpedic. We did purchase a 2" mattress topper based on other reviews, and that really made the bed that comfortable.When the bed is not set up the cabinet makes a great work surface. And it is fairly easy to move around the room should we decide to rearrange the furniture. We could also move it fairly easily to a different room or a different home.

We ordered it and had to return it. First, the delivery person was rude... upon delivery and pick up... the bed was broken inside and we were unable to assemble it. It was returned. Didn’t replace it.

Instructions were easy to follow. Best with two people watching the video and using the written instructions. The cabinet looks beautiful and is easy to pull out and put away. The mattress seems very comfortable just trying it out. I would have no trouble sleeping on it, no sagging or bars in the middle. Hemmed and hawed for weeks and glad I finally made this purchase. We put this in our sun room for an extra bed, it is a big piece but looks really nice.

This is an amazing product. We assembled it last night and had a great night's sleep--just had to try it out!Assembly was easy. However, only one instruction sheet arrived, the one in the cabinet did not come.I added a pillow top mattress pad, but am thinking we would like another 2 inches of foam, so will probably add and store.Very nice craftsmanship.

This product is our guest bed. It will be used minimally, therefore, we didn’t want a bed to take up extra space in the sewing room. It’s a nice looking piece of furniture. The color isn’t my favorite but I have intentions of painting it to better fit into the room. I think we will be happy with it.

What a wonderful piece of furniture. I did pay the extra and had it assembled for me--very wise move!! Remember not to force any of the sections as you open or close the bed.

The Bottom rail is cracked and the paint is rubbed out in 4 places-trying to returndeserves no Stars
