Green Cardamom Seeds - 0.5kg

I bought these pods a few years ago, and was very happy with them. When I returned to reorder them, I was unfortunately swayed by some of the other (inaccurate) reviews, and ended up trying another brand that was mentioned. I regret that decision, and I don't think I will ever purchase another brand of cardamom again! These are by far the freshest, plumpest, most flavorful pods I have ever purchased. I use approximately ten pods per day in tea and mango smoothies and ice water, and amongst all the other pods I have tried, these are by far the best. I need fewer pods to achieve the same flavor, and they are so sweet (in a cardamom sense) that I end up using less sugar in my tea. I hesitate to leave this review in case others hoard my beloved cardamom, but the difference between these and other brands is so significant that I thought it was only fair to share my thanks with Frontier and the amazing growers who raise these lovely pods!

Theses are the worst cardamom pods I hae ever seen, I dont know how old they are, not as advertised in the ohoto which is bright green as they ought to be - and , I just tried to refund or exchange and it is not allowed. You can sell any old thing then , as they have in this department and gt away with selling old, dusty herbs.

I have gotten the Indus brand a few times and for some reason the last time I purchased Cardamom, I decided to try the Frontier brand (bought the 1lb bag through Amazon). Let me set the stage a bit for you...I eat cardamom straight out of the pods...they are a snack for me, so I have a pretty good idea what tastes good (and what doesn't since I eat them straight rather than cook much with them). Ok, back to my experience...I was just about out of the Indus cardamom and my new shipment (the Frontier cardamom) arrived just in time. I was looking forward to opening up the bag and smelling the awesome aromas of cardamom...ahhh... Well, there was a bit of a disappointment because I only sort of smelled the aroma...nonetheless, I continued on pouring some of them into a small jar that I could put on the shelf. This is when I got my second disappointment...the pods of the Frontier cardamom were dull, colorless and seemed old whereas the Indus cardamom are green, sweet smelling and seem quite fresh! Trying something new didn't work out this time. Lesson learn....Indus...I'M BACK AND I AM NOT LEAVING YOU AGAIN!!!! I had a few of the Indus cardamom left, so I took a picture showing both of the brands so you don't have to take my word for it...a picture is worth a thousand words.... I hope this was a helpful review!

This was listed as Frontier product which normally comes in a mylar sealed bag labeled with proper FDA labeling requirements. These bags came in clear bags with NO identifying label what soever. They were shipped over from China. When approaching the seller they said they sent something else because they didn't have it and instead it came from India. I have no idea what grade or quality is in the bags I received and cannot use this product. So far no return or refund or apology other than saying they have been hit hard and are on hard times.

The pkg I received was not from frontier co-op, as you can see in the pics! It’s from unknown vendor and pkg was opened then resealed. I want a refund
