Gorgeous! They will stink when you first open the packaging - matter of fact the company double wraps them because its so awful. Just hanging on the wall it takes about a week before the smell goes away fully. You can speed up this process by putting them in a sealed container with baking soda - it will pull out the smell within maybe 48 hours.

Beautiful authentic specimen. I read the reviews about smell so i opened this I garage and smell wasn’t bad at all for taxidermy. Left out there for a couple days now it’s on my wall and we love it.

Came wrapped and pretty just a TINY part of the wing was Damaged but it’s not big deal.

Had a very strong smell when handled. Would make the whole room smell Like a chemical

This is my first preserved butterfly purchase and I am delighted. I have it displayed on a bookshelf. The product was very well packed.

I tend to buy a lot of these cheaper butterflies for my cubicle at work. I don't want to spend too much money since they're basically in a public setting where they can easily get stolen or broken. I've ordered several and they all come fairly quickly (they come from Thailand, so that's relative), packaged very well, with no damage. There is usually a lingering chemical smell, so be forewarned; but that goes away within a day of being unpackaged. Small wood frame, cotton padding inside as a backing for the butterfly, glass front, and the back is cardboard and taped solidly.

Beautiful butterfly for my grandson, but it (the frame?) SMELLED SO MUCH that I had it out in my garage for days before Christmas and couldn't even wrap it cause it was still so bad. But he still wanted to keep it. Luckily, the other butterfly I got that came later had no such smell. The odor was sickening and could be smelled from 30 feet away.

Pretty specimen, but item had a horrible chemical smell. Once aired out for a couple weeks, I noticed that hook to hang the frame is off-center!
