No battery
Says it comes with a battery in the description but doesn’t. The battery needed is really obscure so we’ve had to return it.

Soweit sehr zufrieden

A nice flashlight with a very big but...
I had high hopes for this after favourable experience of the Trustfire L2. First the good, if you just want the head screwed mode (Mode 1) you get direct to 1000 lumens and tactical signalling on the switch. I like that the flashlight is not rechargeable, i.e. no rubber bung to threaten waterproofing.Unfortunately Mode 2 (head 1/4 turn loosened) is frankly dire. There is a wierd memory logic, on less than 5 seconds next press cycles, more than 5 seconds causes mode memory. In itself that is understandabe but difficult to be certain in use, the problem is strobe and SOS is in the cycle. Whether using mode memory or not it is impossible to escape from the cycle. You cannot get back to low without going through high, strobe and SOS. I cannot believe the designer thought that was a great product behaviour. Maybe a mistake. For a flashlight traditionalist tail clickies are not without merit but the T3 mode 2 UI is not well implemented.

Good torch, doesnt last long, gets very hot
Bought this touch to use at work as a security guard, its a really good torch, very bright and powerful in such a handy size. My only issue with this torch is that it it uses an 18650 rechargeable battery which once fully charged only lasts an hour or 2 of constant use before it dies, i have tried many different brand of battery with the same issue, its also gets very hot after about 15mins of being on to the point where somtimes its to hot to use and i have to walk in the dark or switch it to a lower brightness setting just so i can hold it :/ im sure most of these issues stem from the battery its self but like i said with having the same issues with new, old and different brands of battery it leads me to believe that it could be designed a little better. But apart from that its a great bit of kiy

Suitably Impressed
I usually spend quite a bit more on a Flashlight than this cost but I have to say for the money I’m impressed. It’s nice and bright (as the specs suggest) and incredibly light without compromising on build quality, feels nice in the hand and takes up no space...It’s a bit fiddly scrolling through the modes with not having a separate button to toggle but once you get the hang of it it doesn’t present any real problem...it’s not as nice as some torches I own but then again it’s a fraction of the price so all in all I have to say Trustfire have a New Fan.
