Eppicotispai Birchwood Pizza Peel, 23 x 50 cm/9.05 x 19.7", Brown

I have a ooni karu 16 and a ooni koda 16 and I use this peel for launching my pizzas and it works great. I love this pizza peel.

I bought a pizza stone and wanted a pizza peel to make some home made pizza and move homemade bread into the oven. The peel is a really nice size and has an edge to slide on bread or pizza and move into and take out of the oven.I can't really comment on long term stability of this peel. It is made out of plywood rather than solid wood. Therefore, I would not want to soak it in water as plywood can delaminate over time. I wipe mine down with a damp cloth/sponge when needed and then immediately dry it with a clean kitchen towel. Then I leave it our to completely dry. But it does feel pretty solid and it was priced right.

Couldn't believe how easily we were able to slide the pizza from it onto the pizza stone! We followed the advice to rub it lightly with mineral oil before first use. Dusted it with flour and it worked perfectly.

For the price this thing is amazing. It slides the pizza on and off the stone so easily! As the title suggests it's a bit thin so if you're heavy handed or clumsy in the kitchen you might end up breaking it, so be careful.

I bought the 23x50cm peel, found this by accident because the larger peels are the only ones featured usually. I use this for my breadmaking and it’s a perfect size! Most pizza peels are too large and the bread peels are too narrow. It’s not too deep so it slides under items well and yet it’s sturdy enough to carry some weight. Really pleased with this.

Read the description carefully, cm not inches. Too small to do much with. Not as expected. oh well, be warned. Charge more to return than worth returning.

It's a good size to use with a large rectangular stone. I found if you use corn meal on it vs flour the dough slides off. I try not to wash it every time because the wood doesn't seem to be sealed; but, it's worth what I paid for it. I think the more you use it it might get better with age. Also, I like when I take the pizza out I can leave it on the peel and it doesn't sweat like it would on a metal pan. I wish the handle was a bit longer but if I pull my rack out a bit while putting the pizza on the stone it's just right. I would recommend it to others & am happy with my purchase.

Best way to get a large pizza out of a very hot oven

Ich brauche diesen Schieber um Brötchen in den Ofen schießen zu können. Die Grösse ist genial, fast wie meine Backbleche. Das macht die Arbeit einfacher.Wirkt sehr stabil. Sicherlich wird auch einmal eine Pizza den Weg auf den Schieber finden.Klare Kaufempfehlung!

I have only used it once (for two different pizzas). Worked brilliantly. Slid pizza on to the stone while the stone was in the oven and then easily got it off the stone when it was cooked. Made up the second pizza on the peel while the pizza stone stayed in the oven. No problems! Will see how long it lasts. At this moment extremely happy!
