Doesn’t work for 1996 Silverado

Doesn’t work for my 1996 Silverado. The QR code for the instructions doesn’t work. I looked it up online and the programming window should be about 30 seconds but I couldn’t get it to work. So I popped the back off to see the LED blinking and it only blinks for maybe 10 seconds and never connected to my truck. I ended up trying a different battery and the symptoms did not change

Needs better batteries.

The new fobs work fine and seem to be of good quality but I was expecting the batteries not to be weak right out of the box.

Took me all of 2 mins to do the paperclip in the OBD reader and holding both buttons to program this thing. 1997 K1500 5.7. Flawless.
