Q: What is the difference between this and denamarin? my chihuahua is taking denamarin to improve liver function. would this do the same thing?

My dog had complete liver failure so Denamarin was prescribed since it provides stronger liver support. They both contain the same main ingredient, but Denamarin also contains a form of milk thistle. I had a bad experience with Denosyl(my dog started vomiting black liquid, but I don't know if it was just a coincidence that he got sick the same day he took the Denosyl and I didn't want to risk it) Always consult your vet before switching or starting medications, and if your are going to buy online make sure it is a reputable company. After my incident I only purchase Denamarin from my vet even though it costs a lot more.
