They are pretty long and an reasonable size, I may not be exact but maybe 3 feet or a little more

Does it come with Workout booklet?

It is a very small one with about 8 ideas on how to use them. Can't be any larger than 4X6 inches. Not overly helpful but you can get plenty of options from internet. The bands are fine.
