First, this product is great. It is inexpensive and does exactly what it is supposed to do. The grip is strong enough to hold up my Samsung Galaxy Tablet while on a commercial flight, clipping it to the secured tray in front of me. Every time I fly my neighbors compliment me on this device and inquire where they can get one, too. The best part is the grip is adjustable so it can also shrink to fit my Galaxy S21. All I need to do is turn my phone sideways into the grips, then rotate the device (it swivels 360) to whatever view I want.Second, for all those complaining about the device being difficult to work and loud when it does... you're doing it wrong. In fact, you're trying to break it. The device is meant to expand and contract to fit anything from a phone to a tablet. To do this, there is a button in the center of the "grip" area. You press that button and it silently expands to whatever size you need. Or you can, with great difficulty and noise, force it to go larger and strip it's gear teeth in the process. I recommend pressing this button. It's not even difficult to find!5 stars all the way.

This thing is the best on the plane to hold my kindle!!I use a clicker with it to read for hours on my trips!

The tablet mount worked well with a Samsung 10" tablet, where it was used on a flight in coach class. It was clamped on the side of the tray table. Since it did not occupy much tray space, I was able to place an inflight meal on the tray table while watching videos. I needed to remove the tablet from its protective case to use the mount. The mount's clamp can only secure a mobile device that is less than a 1/2 inch (12.7mm) thick. Whereas, the protective case was 7/8 inch (22.2mm) thick with a rounded edge. The clamp could not hold the the tablet case. However, the clamp was snug enough to secure the tablet (without the case) in position. I also use the tablet mount in my home office, where I suspend my tablet from a bookshelf. I would've given the tablet mount a 5 star rating if it had worked with my tablet's protective case. But since it was not designed with that in mind, it lost a star.

Got this on a $20 risk hoping it would work for my Z Fold 5 and was worth the purchase. It does infact hold it folded and unfolded using the adjustment features it has. If your looking for a Aircraft mount for any fold; this is the one; now I can relax on my 16 hour flight without my wrists or neck being sore while watching a movie.Side Note: I would be gentle but firm while making adjustments as the quality of the mount is good; it is the type of plastic that can break with enough force applied.

5/5 for clamping strength and security2/5 for positoningI used it for a Surface Go, it clamped on seat backs and tray tables well enough however the angles it could hold my tablet at left much to be desired. I ended up just resting the tablet on the clamp with the kickstand to give me a better angle.If I didn't leave it on the plane I would have returned it.This is a good idea but most of the time the tablet was too low, about chest level.

This is amazing! Used in the backseat of our VW Atlas, daughter is rear facing and this was a huge help to have on road trips. I put my iPad in, without a case, and it was very secure. It didn’t rattle around at all. I love that it folds flat when you aren’t using it. It’s super easy to take on and off too. Highly recommend.

The extender is not a one size fits all and you can't have a case (other than a very thin skin cover) and absolutely no pop it (if they made it deeper or put an opening of some kind in the back, it would've fit. I tryed to rig it every way I could think of, but had to throw it out. It didn't fit and wasn't deep enough. I have a Samsung 21 so it may not have been made for all types of phones.

I travel often and it works as advertised! I can put it in different ways depending on the plane. I absolutely love it. I have a small tablet and it fits perfectly!
