Exceptional product!
I've tried a few with no success. This toilet seat is everything it says it is. It fits my round toilet perfectly, barely visibly overlipping the bowl, which is the structure not the opening. The bowl opening is exact size of the original toilet seat opening. The feet sit perfectly on the rim of the toilet with no movement at all for me. Lifts to clean as easy as a regular toilet seat and even easier if you remove it, which is simple. I'm 68 yo with arthritis, bad knees. I'm 5'4" 160lbs. My feet don't rest flat on the floor but reach enough so no problem. I also installed it all by myself within 30 minutes. It was simple installation that a healthy person could do in half the time. I was So thrilled that it fit and worked so perfectly! If you have a ROUND bowl order it you won't be disappointed! The Kohler quality is superb and is nicer looking than other fixtures in my bathroom. Lol

Functional AND stylish solution!
My husband had a hip replacement in May, and found that our 'comfort height' toilet needed no modifications other than the assist bars that are shown in the last photo. However, this week he had the first of his knee replacement surgeries, and his first try at sitting on the toilet was impossible. The seat was just too low. Local shops only stocked the blow-molded plastic toilet toppers that clamp onto the existing toilet base, requiring the existing seat to either remain up all the time (nope, close seat before flushing!!), or to be removed and attached to the seat riser. Aesthetically, they look less than attractive, reminding one of a hospital or nursing home. Not only thst, but reviews are mixed, with many users reporting that they shift and slide under the body's weight and movement, and can even come unlatched completely. This any acceptable for anyone, but especially for someone with new joint replacements for whom safety and proper joint alignment while moving is essential. It was by reading one of these products' reviews where I came across a written account of another person's experience with one of those cheap plastic risers, and he mentioned going with the Kohler Hyten seat. I found the product, and was immediately impressed. Ordered it for one-day delivery. When it came today, I grabbed my phillips screwdriver and got to work. Our existing toilet seat was a Kohler, and so was delighted to find that the silicone/stainless top-mount anchors are the same for both seats! All I had to do was remove the screws and old seat, and install the new seat's mounting plates snugly in place. Snap on the covers, and the seat was installed! Took me no more than ten minutes. It installs completely from the top. Fits our elongated toilet perfectly, and looks clean and very modern. The seat is smooth and comfortable, and even though I don't need the extra height myself at 5'4", it's not too high for me to use easily. The material is the same as our regular Kohler toilet seat - smooth, hygienic, and comfortably contoured. It even has a soft-close hinge, which I consider essential. Kohler thought of everything with this one. Hubby has been napping, and I'm sure he will be surprised - and happy - too see this seat in place for his added comfort while recovering from his knee replacement. I do not anticipate needing to remove this seat after he's completely mobile again (the second knee will be replaced in about 6 weeks) because it looks so nice, but if I would decide to do so, I know that it will be extremely easy. I highly recommend this product as a much better option for anyone needing a taller toilet seat, whether you're just very tall or you need it for home convalescence.

Great lift! Very sturdy & easy to install
Perfect for a lower toilet. Got this for my mom, her knees are bad and the extra height helped alot. Worth the $ very sturdy, well made. Very easy to install

Ease of installation
Fantastic design and couldn’t have been easier to install. Kudos to Kohler. We have an American Standard toilet and it fits perfectly. Comfort, ease of cleaning and durability all appear to be engineered into this product. My mistake the additional height proved too great for our application.Still highly recommend this product.

Works Well. I'm Bummed That I Didn't Buy One Sooner!
We purchased this due to the obvious need for easier accessibility. The elongated model fit perfectly on our Kohler toilet and was pretty easy to install. Just carefully read the directions since there may be a few installation steps that may not be obvious to the less mechanically inclined. So far, seat is structurally sound and comfortable. A few reviews stated that it did not stay in place well. While I do not know the conditions of thier installation, I suspect some of the issues were in the installment. The support brackets must be installed carefully and tightened APPROPRIATELY in order for the seat to be stable. No complaints otherwise. Soft Close is wonderful and works well.

Easy install, nice looking piece.
Yea, it may slip a bit but what in the world would your expectations be. You have a hunk of plastic and you put 150 to 250 lbs on it. You squirm around, bend sideways, etc and you think that 2 screws will hold anything that is screwed against China will not move around? Good luck with that. I believe this is a great product. Its made well and that is a nice feature of being able to remove the seat for cleaning. Also, thanks for the install video you have. It took all the guess work out of the installation. If I have any updates, I will add them.

Very elegant way to elevate an every day situation
It came today and was a snap to install. The existing stock seat that came with my new Kohler Highline toilet was itself about an inch thick, and was removed, meaning that this three-inch seat only raises the seating height by about two inches, which suits me just fine. I needed some clearance between the seat and the water for reasons involving my anatomy, and this seat does the job.I found only one issue with it. There are six support points for the seat: the two posts in the back, a pair of bumpers on the sides that contact the bowl edge, and two more bumpers further towards the front. Unfortunately, only the forward bumpers and the posts at the rear actually carry the bulk of my bulk when I sit. The side bumpers only make contact with the bowl edge when substantial weight is applied. My solution was to stick four, thin, clear-finished, and small-diameter bumpers to the bottoms of those side bumpers, basically allowing them to make solid contact with the bowl rim even when no weight is applied. My assumption is that with six uniform pressure points the frame of the seat will have less stress on it every time it is used and will be less susceptible to stress cracks over time. Fixed this way, the seat works fine.
