Cost effective and excellent performance.
Quick shipment. The switch works great. I used Openspeedtest to confirm that it can deliver up to 2.5 gb per sec. Matter of fact, I daisy chained two switches in Serra and the combo also performed well to achieve the theoretical throughput. It is compact and quiet without fan.The only thing I don’t like about the switch is the indicating light for each port, which is located below the RWJ-45 connector - making it hard to see. However, with the green for 2.5 gbps vs amber for 1gbps, it is bearable and you don’t pay attention to it after the initial setup.

The good reviews are no BS.
This 24-port 2.5G switch really is an exceptional value—it's not "cheap," it's just more reasonably priced compared to other high-density options. I'll admit, I was a bit worried about buying from some "no-name" brand at such a competitive price. But after I merged two 8-port 2.5G switches and a 16-port 1G switch into this unit, I've been super happy with it. It's totally streamlined my setup and cleared out a lot fo my homelab's rat's nest. Plus, it handles the heat of Phoenix summers in my warm office without any trouble—and all that without a fan. Seriously, that’s pretty impressive. My setup includes an Asustor NAS with two 2.5G ports and a bunch of miniPCs, each rocking at least one 2.5G port. This switch takes everything I throw at it, keeps the speed up and hasn’t maxed out the bandwidth once, at least as far as I can tell, even when I really push it.So, to wrap this up, this switch is solid, performs like a champ, and the price is on point. It works great with the Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a cables I already had, supporting a wide array of devices (I even have a laptop 100+ ft from the switch, 2.5gig connectivity - no problem). I'm totally impressed with how it has sorted out all my networking issues. I am thrilled with this purchase.

Don't be scared by low price. It works great
Don't let the low price scare you, it works great. I was concerned and almost paid double fearing that this would be a POS. It works great, no complaints. I just got 2.5G fiber in my house and needed to replace my old 1G switches. I'm very happy.

Terrific 24-port 2.5GB Switch at a Great Price Point
After managing a home network with an overworked 16-port 1 GB Ethernet switch for about 10 years, I made some upgrades that made me think about also upgrading the switch. Specifically, I had added two components with 2.5GB ports, so it made sense to change from a 1 GB to a 2.5 GB switch. Also, the 16 ports on my old switch were totally full, which required plugging some new devices into my cable modem and Wi-Fi router Ethernet ports, creating a patchwork network. The 24 Port 2.5G Ethernet Switch Unmanaged Network Switch looked like a perfect solution for me, so I purchased it and have absolutely no regrets. Setup was super-simple (basically, you just have to plug it in, although there are features that you can manage if you like), and the switch behaved reliably from the moment I installed it into my network. Now I can finally get proper mileage out of the Cat6 Ethernet cables distributed throughout my house as well as my NAS with a 2.5 GB port and my new 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) router with a 2.5 GB port. This switch is a perfect solution for situations similar to mine.

An Excellent Switch
The switch connects very quickly, a lot more quickly than anything I’ve had before, and is so far most excellent. I am pleased to say I see you all used a decent processor in there that is faster than most. My AP synchronized just fine and thru-put is excellent. Setup was extremely easy. I have no complaints and I am glad I bought it. The price was excellent. The only thing I would definitely say is I would have liked to have had a reasonably priced 10G SFP option in a similar configuration. I really like the fact it has both a standard 100m and an extend to 600m range available even though I personally do not need that long of a run at this time. I also really like the fact the case is proper metal. It’s simple, does a good job and is worry free. It was also remarkably inexpensive for the quality. I really needed that. These are the hallmarks of a quality product.Addendum: I just upgraded to a 1.25G Twinax SFP cable for this unit.. Using fiber with it is even faster. I'm impressed. I will be testing latency and so on when there is time..

10gig and 2.5gig? Instantly Recognized SFP+ in TrueNAS!
I am fairly new to TrueNAS and networking in general but have been tinkering with computers since I was a young boy. This is the first time in 20+ years that we've upgraded the home network since 1gig was plenty for quite a long time but without a NAS in the loopSince then I have built this NAS mainly to store all of the 4K footage I've been filming. Previously, I was hardly able to store a few months worth due to space constraints. If possible I wanted to eliminate the need for storage drives in my personal computer and have everything in the NASSo far with 2 of these in the house with 2.5gb in between them and the server on the 10gb SFP+ port everything is working perfectly! I am able to easily write to the NAS with 2 systems and use half of the NIC's capacity at 5gig! It's only been a day so I will update as I continue to use this switchMy NAS consist of 8 3tb SAS drives in a RaidZ2, totaling 16TiB of data with redundancy
