We burn wood in our woodstove for about 4 to 5 months out of the year and go through 4 to 5 cords of wood. We can have the wood burning 24 hours a day for several days straight. I would get 2 to 3 winters use out of the Ceramic blankets before I had to replace them. They are usually crumbling by that time.This replacement insulation blanket was easy to install. It did not irritate my skin like the original ceramic blanket.Since this super wool blanket has only been in use for a little over a month I do not know about durability. If it holds up as long as the ceramic, then I would give it 5 stars.

This worked for my Jotul wood stove. I do think the cost was a bit high for what it is.
