use them for sliding door barn style door, yes its a secret of mine, try it. place it at lower bottom of door, flushmount it with a frostner bit. place metal washer of shame diameter on wall, you can switch this around ofcourse and walla. its actually very strong you can still work the door but not by it wont open for say a small toddler, pets, wind, bad installation where you put door on angle slope, etc. it works so good you be thanking me later.

Strong magnets. Be sure to not let them near each other as they can snap onto your fingers (ouch!) and they are hard to separate from one another.If you need to separate them, stand them next to each other on the edge of a table and slide them off one one another using the table to ensure they don't stick.

Very powerful. I use one to keep a 12-foot farm gate closed. How powerful? A 4-year-old might be able to open the gate but not a toddler.Hole in magnet led me to think I could use a screw to mount it with a screw. Nope. Magnet split in half with very little effort. It's tensile strength is probably about the same as a Life Saver hard candy.

N52 grade is strong, so strong, you gotta be cautious when handling it. I mishandled it and it bit a chunk out of my finger tip!

These are great disk magnets and an excellent value for 2 pcs. Having the pre-drilled hole makes them great for easy mounting or home projects, I'm using them for holding tools, they're more convenient than the bar magnets and are strong enough to dip/coat in liquid vinyl and still hold things in position. I've also used them for mounting a small vise to one of my workbenches, it's small enough that 2 of these mounted to the base hold it in place while I'm using it.They are really strong so always be careful to prevent shattering the magnets or pinching yourself.

Magnets are quite powerful and I like that they mark the N side with the red line. They’ll mess with a compass several feet away and will easily hold together through your hand. I’m using them to charge alnico guitar pickup magnets and they work great.

These are EXTREMELY strong magnets that are hard to get a part if they touch each other. Both of them shattered right after i took them out of the package because i put them about 8 inches apart on the table and they attracted to eachother so fast that they exploded into 5 peices.

A warning to buyers. I got these too close to one another; and theyflew through the air and smashed together with a dangerous force andbroke one of the magnets. These things are SUPER STRONG; so be awarethat you have to be careful when handling them..I'm going to buy another set, and this time I won't be so naive when using them.
