This product adheres very well to the hair.Incredible functionality. It's easy to find anywhere, and the price-performance ratio is perfect. It leaves hair feeling soft. It doesn't need to be left on for long to feel manageable. You don't need a large amount to use because just a little bit of the product is enough to do its job. Although this brand has longevity, it remains one of my favorites. the color is nice.

I love the nourishing ingredients in the gel buuut it doesn't seem to hold textured hair down esp new growth while trying to stretch my relaxers. I guess it's better if your hair is straight somewht already laying down. I will keep trying it til it's gone because of the ingredients.**I went and reread tye description and it says to use while hair is wet 👀 ..I was using it on dry hair so maybe that is the issue.1st order was opened. Customer service took care of the issue immediately by sending out another jar. I trashed the 1st to be safe.

The hold is great, but I like driving with my windows open and due to wind, it didn’t hold as well as the bad products out there (of course). The feeling is amazing I absolutely love it. The smell is great. The texture is great. I do wet my hair a bit before I apply. I achieve the such back look that way. I recommend this product. Just don’t wear it in a windy day where you planning to be outside all day

Flaker. Makes your hair kind of white. Especially if you touch it dry. The product is so smells nice and feels good your hair does stay soft but it's just that it flakes.

The product is very smooth when dipping into the jar and applying it to the hair. It works well for my 4C hair and my daughter’s 3A/3B hair. It washes out easily but doesn’t provide an extreme hold like Combat Gel, for reference. For its price, it’s great and does exactly what it’s intended to do.

It's been a struggle for me to find hair products that work for my hair, I was getting so frustrated and wondering if I was ever going to find a gel that works because I was reading so many mixed reviews for Shea Moisture. I decided to just go ahead and get this gel because Shea Moisture, in me and my hairs opinion, is the best and so nourishing. Turns out, yes, my hair loves Shea Moisture and this gel has been a hair saver, it works amazing, and my hair looks so beautiful, it holds great and for the whole day. The gel has the consistency of...well...gel haha! The smell is nice, it's like a tropical smell with a hint of a butter-y scent. I also love that you get a good amount of gel, basically you get a tub, and this really depends on your hair, but I just use a little bit, like probably a golf ball amount or even less, it's really nice and when I run out, I'm 100% buying this again!
