Very good
I like this stuff, but it's a weird product. It's an incredibly thin liquid - thin enough that if I were to accidentally knock the tub off my bathroom counter it would probably spill out on the floor. You can easily lift too much from the tub as you pretty much have to dip your finger in the liquid and hope for the best. It's not easy to use.The hold, however, is very good. It's not a particularly strong hold, at least not on my mid length and slightly thin hair, but it adds lots of volume and texture without feeling heavy, and I find my style holds throughout the day and can be reworked fairly easily. If the liquid were a little thicker and easier to use I'd probably give it five stars, but it's a sold 4 as is.

The Best Ever
This is the ONLY sea salt product that does not make hair super greasy. Amazing for fine hair. Please never discontinue this product!

It dries white
This product dries white or light grey at least an hour or two after use. This is not some “Just for Men - Touch of Grey” quality anyone is looking for. And for those with darker or otherwise colored hair, this nonsense is a problem.

Where's the beef?
I like the texture of the product and how it makes my hair look. However, it looks like someone scooped out half the tub before it got to me. The container (which is already small on its own) isn't even halfway full.

Leaves hair looking white and crispy.
I have tested a lot of men's hair products ... so I have a pretty good level of comparison. My go-to is American Crew. If there is a better line of styling products than American Crew, I have yet to find it. I normally use their Styling Paste for my medium length hair. I wear it parted on the side and spiked up like Harvey Spector from the show Suits, just to give you an idea of the hold I need.My hair is dark brown with some unfortunate grey/white hairs on the sides to show my age. Because of the dark color, I find a little shine helps make my hair look darker and hide the grey. Right off the bat, I will agree with another reviewer who mentions that this leaves your hair looking a bit grey, or even white ... especially if you are already a bit greying on the sides. I put this in my hair and went about my morning routine. By the time I got in the car and glanced in the rear view mirror, I about spit my coffee out. How could I have gone SO grey overnight!? Thankfully, I soon discovered somehow this leaves a grey-ish sheen to your hair in the light. Whew!It is marketed as a paste ... and is a LOT more liquid-like than American Crew's Styling Paste. I'd call it more of a glue as it has a creamy texture. It is easy to work through your hair as a result. It dries quickly and leaves your hair in place ... but as a result, your hair is left feeling a bit 'crispy' especially when finished with a few sprays of hair spray. Your hair won't be flexible, as it is with other styling pastes. The best way I can define the style that this gives is to look at President John F. Kennedy's hair. It is coiffed but stays in place and looks pretty natural and not slick. This is as matte as matte can be ... good for those who want dry but held in place hair. Your pillowcases will not be greasy after using this.Let's talk about packaging. It has a cool vintage sort of look. The metal tin/can looks a bit like an old shoe polish can and the colors and font look pleasing on your vanity next to your razor, etc. if you are into interior design. The cover is a bit awkward to slide on and off and almost seems upside down in its function and design. It seems like it would be good for travel ... small enough to fit in a dopp kit but sturdy enough not to slide open due to the threads on the inner rim.Overall I don't love its crunchiness and I certainly don't like the grey/white look it gives my hair. I think this would be good for people who want a natural look without looking too fluffy and are grey, white or blonde. (Or enjoy having their darker hair look white/grey) This is a shame as the packaging is cool and I love things that are made in England. I hope this review helped your shopping decision ... I know that I am picky about my styling products and its hard to find good hold in a men's paste. I gave this to a friend after a couple of uses (who threw it away).
