Source Widepac Water Tank

I’ve had water carriers in the past but with only a small filling hole. This is much better. I can put orange and lemon slices in with the water and ice too. It’s so easy to clean out and I like that you can detach the tube without water spilling out.It’s never easy to dry water carriers like this out completely but that’s par for the course. I was them out with Milton every so often to try to avoid any nasty build ups of bacteria.I would recommend this water carrier and a lot less expensive than the Osprey carrier which would have matched my rucksack.

We have used these Source packs for many years. They last as well as can be expected for a flexible plastic product. Parts can be replaced, they can be cleaned and dried very easily. The reviews are equally good. Highly recommended!

I use my hydration bladder at least once a week, so it has to last and be easy to clean. I have tried Platapus and Camelbak, but Source is definitely the best of the three and the most durable.

I had my last Source hydration bladder frequently for +2.5 years and it has been the best. This replacement I can tell is the same quality and it is a great design as the entire top opens up making it easy to refill from taps and clean.

I ordered the 2L source widepac drinks bladder. This is the third bladder I have had (all different makes/merchants) in about 2 months due to a plastic taste i believe to be coming from the bladder itself. I have washed it out, dried it and tried it several times and always get the plastic taste. What am I doing wrong? The other two bladders leaked. This one hasn't so far, but maybe time will tell. I am due to use this item for walk next Sunday, but I may have to do without it altogether.
