VOTATU M3X Red Dot Magnifier, 3X Red Dot Sight Magnifier Optics with Built-in Flip to Side Mount, 35 37 41 Height, Windage & Elevation Adjustable

I believe this is a copy of a much more expensive Sig brand magnifier. The moment you open the package, you know you received a quality magnifier. Comes in a very nice hard case. The glass on this magnifier is cryatal clear. The flip mount is tight and very well made. I really like the push button release. I was skeptical at first, not being one of the big brand names and at a very budget friendly price. Super happy with it and you will be too. I highly recommend this magnifier and plan to buy one or two more myself.

I'm always skeptic when it comes to budget items such as these, you never know if it's crap or your found a gem. Well this is a gem. This 3x magnifier was easy to install, lined up perfectly with my optic. It does have 2 additional spacers to raise the height if needed. It comes in a nice hard plastic case. Seems to be made of quality materials and solid construction. There was a nice audible click when you push the button and move it 90° to the side when you don't need it. It's easy to adjust the windage and elevation. I fired several boxes through it and it stayed in place and didn't move. Overall i'm extremely satisfied with this and it was well worth the money.

So I will say this thing is absolutely tough. It's heavy than I had initially anticipated but it holds up to a beating.There rigidity is great the glass seems to hold up.Some pro'sWith the picatinny mount you have many options for placement. Accompanying this to your current dot or non magnification sight drastically increases your firearms versatility. Push button design is nice to roll it out of the way when magnification isn't necessary although I see a few things about. The design is easy enough to work with a multitude of different types of optics whether it be dots , irons, or a simple holographic.I think the build and design is great for a fairly good price.Some consIt's not bulky, but it isn't exactly streamlined it does fit a rifle well it and it's compact enough for PCC. It was a little stiff at first as well but with a few minor adjustments I noticed you could loosen up the set screws and work the the magnifier back and forth until it flipped over freely. Only real complaint on that aspect of it. Adding the magnifier to another magnified optic that's greater than 1.5x gave me some issues. It seems to distort the image a bit and made it harder to get just right without rearranging the optics further apart and thus making the sight aperture obsolete because without magnifier it was out of focus completely.All around ,price , build /Design, versatility I say 4/5 stars

The magnifier works great but had a problem with the pivot mount not locking and contacted customer service. They were very easy to deal with and sent out a new one right away.

The magnifier came with everything promised, and a nice hard carrying case. I did a bit of testing and it has held zero so far. There's no wiggle in the mount or the hinge. This paired nicely with my SIG Romeo 5. The preinstalled riser was the correct height, but it did come with two lower risers for other red dots. When looking down the magnifier, the dot created by the sight appears clear, the eye relief is pretty impressive aswell. All in all, a great budget magnifier.

I wanted so bad to like this magnifier! Great price, great weight and sight picture. However, the mount/bracket that allows to flip is not strong enough to handle normal use. The glass is supposed to stop at a certain point the be level with your red dot sight. This one, unfortunately was either defective or not made with decent quality because even the slightest pressure caused it to sink and bottom out well below the stopping point. Because of this, the glass would not stay level with my dot. I tried to see if there was an adjustment but as I started flipping the magnifier, it became more and more loose to where it was just flopping around. At that point I returned it. I try to give smaller companies the benefit of the doubt even if they're Chinesium. But this was just not up to normal standards.

Full metal construction in the housing and mount, has held zero well so far after a few days at range. Comes with everything in pictures and nice hard plastic case. Not sure if I will keep using the dust cover for the lense because my red dot doesn't have any but I like the option. #BIG PLUS# for me was the covers for the adjustment knobs being able to be used a the screw drivers for the adjustments, as well as the guards so they don't get bumped. It makes the magnifier a little heavier but for me, I like the trade off and no tools needed. Good buy, will recomend

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. After determining the proper eye relief this site is clear and matches the Votatu Red Dot Sight, VRD501 extremely well.The magnifier locks well behind the red dot sight, and securely when rotated out of the way.Over all I am extremely impressed with this product and would suggest that anyone looking for a red dot magnifier consider this one.
