Otoscope Set ENT Diagnostic Instruments Plus 2 Free Replacement Bulb Cynamed

I just got this for use at home with my family and was very pleased. I could have paid 5 times this much and gotten the expensive...but rechargeable...Welch Allyn set with ophthalmoscope and nasoscope....but don't need all that for home use. Besides, over the years I've had to buy replacement bulbs and rechargeable batteries for my expensive set anyway. I'm please with this relatively high quality set for infrequent home use.

Works, but lacks the quality of the much more expensive WA otoscopes. Light is off center and uneven, although seems bright enough. Some distortion of image through cheap lens. Still, for a low price, you will get a usable otoscope.

This is a step up from the inexpensive penlight otoscopes as it does allow for detachable heads. I have used Welch Allen otoscopes costing hundreds of dollars and this one allowed me to visualize the ear canal and tympanic membrane just as well.

Best lighting of any otoscope. I highly recommend it to all practioners and medical students

There is an issue with the bulb, it does not screw in fully, hence when the specula tips touches it (the bulb) the light flickers and sometimes it goes out.

Same as used in the Clinic where I worked .........we bought for Son-in-law ; Bad ear wax problem , gets used every 2 weeks ; Daughter loves it !!!!

I wish the description would have said this needs batteries. But I wanted to be able to use the wooden, long-handled cotton swabs and pass them through the otoscope while the light is on, and this works for that. If you plan to use it on animals, you would need longer ear cones.

Was missing pieces after taking much longer then expected to get. Was to late to return.
