Great kids cup! (Great for kids whose silicone spout sippies& water bottles never stood a chance)
My autistic 2 year old has refused many cups, never drank from a bottle, hardly found a sippy cup that worked for him. The contigo water bottles began to be the only cup he would drink from for about a year. Until we finally got him go try this. And thank the heavens, because these cups are wonderful! I would say 99.9% leak free (the .1% is only because on occasion one out of the 5 that we have, has been found tipped over on our floor and a small puddle of liquid seeped out the air hole.) These are very easy to clean. The straw is strong and holds up well against straw chewing, (a big issue we had with the contigo water bottles, we were replace it about once every month or two due to my son chewing the silicone spout off) It is SO nice finding a spill proof, toddler proof cup, that also has convenient cleaning and easy reassembly. It's been wonderful only having to buy extras because I want to have the different designs, have extra cups for when I want to skip doing the dishes, and not have to buy extra because my child thinks he is a woodchuck and must chew and destroy his only hydration container. 🙃 this cup is awesome. Buy it

Good cup for toddlers
I did a lot of research before getting this cup. I needed something leak/spill proof to have in the car for my toddler. I like the size as it fits perfectly in car seat cup holder and it truly doesn’t leak which is the best feature. I also wanted something that can be put in a microwave for 15-20 sec because sometimes we need to warm something up really quick before leaving the house. My son’s other mug is metal and holds temperature really well but cannot be used in a microwave which is a bummer.I haven’t tried washing it in a dishwasher, I prefer washing by hand where I can get to all the spots and clean the straw better but so far the coloring is untouched and looks like new.Overall, I am happy with the price and quality.

This Special Needs Mama Recommends!!!
My son is fourteen and has severe intellectual delays. He is only able to drink from sippy cups with spouts or straws. At his age, it has been difficult to find a cup that works for him. Most cups are simply too small at 8oz or so, and need a refill to satisfy his fourteen-year-old thirst. Many of the straw sippy cups have a very slow suction, which frustrates him. I turned to a mom group and asked other special needs mamas which cup they would reccomend, and the replies were overwhelmingly for Contigo brand! So, I hopped on Amazon and ordered our first Contigo cup. We have had it for a few weeks now and I am thoroughly ready to order several more. It is absolutely the best cup we have ever owned for my son. It has been thrown, turned upside down, shaken, beaten against a table top, and more with absolutely NO leaks! That is unheard of in our world until now! It has also been washed several times in the dishwasher with no changes to the structure of the straw or cup. Furthermore, this cup doesn't look as much like a toddler cup as many of our other options do. We are officially sticking with Contigo cups long term and will be purchasing several more!

Every toddler parent needs this spill-proof tumbler.
The media could not be loaded. Love everything about this cup. As you can tell in the video we use it a lot so going through the dishwasher so many times has caused the print on the outside to come off a bit. This doesn't phase me at all though because it really does great at being spill proof and easily functioning for my son. He loves it and has both his water and protein shakes from it everyday. It's simple to clean, and comes apart easily for me but not for my son. Its the only cup I feel safe enough to bring in my car and give to him in the carseat without worrying that it'll go everywhere when he eventually chucks it. Highly recommend it to all moms!

Overall Good Cups
Overall these are good cups and my kids like them. They withstand being dropped and thrown without any spills. However, after a while I find that the lquid inside "bubbles up" and sits on the lid.

Actually, genuinely doesn't leak
I know, every lidded toddler cup is advertised as leak proof. I have two toddlers and they have proven that every leak-proof cup can be made to leak. But this one is the real deal. I've had it for a few weeks now, and tested outdoors on walks, in the car, at the table, and during cup-throwing meltdowns, and this cup truly does not spill. Also, my littles usually chew through any straw or spout they get hold of, but this one isn't even showing a tooth mark. They cannot budge the lid. They can (and do) turn it upside down and shake it and nothing happens. If you are looking for a really, truly, leak-proof, spill-prood, lunatic toddler-proof cup, you have found it. I'm buying my second one now.

Actually leakproof
Wasn’t sure about these as all straw cups we have tried have leaked. I like contigo brand for my self (coffee thermos and water bottle with flip up spout straw) and the kids water bottles with straw and flip up spout. Aside from Nalgene kids soppy cups, the contigo water bottles are the only ones I have found that don’t leak. So far these straw cups have proved to be leak proof. I have tried milk, juice and water in them. They aren’t very insulated but that’s fine with us. The straw can’t come out because of the design of being tapered, while the lid is screwed on. To remove the straw you hace to take the lid off and unscrew the straw which is two piece that has a valve in the middle. So I don’t love that you hace to use their straw for it to be leak proof but as long as we don’t lose that it should be fine! I took a silicone straw tip (it’s light blue in the picture) that I use on my metal reusable straws and put one on the tip of this straw. My kids tend to chew on hard plastic straws and spouts. I’m hoping the silicone tip will help to protect the straw from little biting teeth for a while. Something I didn’t notice right away is there is a vent on the top of the cap (you can see it in the picture as a small slit on the left) to help pressurize the inside since the straw has a valve in it. This vent is also leak proof. So far I am very impressed with this cup. My two year old really needs to use a straw more than a soppy spout to help him strengthen his mouth muscles so this is going to help with that.
