3M Micropore Tape 1530-1 (2 rolls) 1 x 10 yards

Normally I wait to use something for around a month before writing a review, but using this once I know it does what it claims. I am using this for face taping (for wrinkles), and bottom line, this stuck to my face with no issues, removing it in the morning was a breeze.Now to the details. I have been seeing videos about face taping to combat existing wrinkles, as a more mature lady I have a few of those, I'm not so vain that it's something I worry about, but I do notice them and if I can do something about it (without having to go see a medical professional) all the better. On many of these face taping videos, they often use castor oil, sometimes mixed with frankincense oil mixed in, I wondered how "tape" could or would stick to skin with oil on it. I tried a couple of various medical tapes I purchased from my local dollar store, none of them would properly stick to my face overnight while dry, much less with oil applied first.I gave this tape a try having heard good things about it, last night I got out my bottle of castor oil, I cut this tape into the appropriate lengths for the 3 areas I wanted to tape, I applied the castor oil to my skin, one over my eyebrow where I have a wrinkle/line, and the other two in the nasal folds around my mouth. I then applied the tape over those three areas, to my surprise (and delight) the tape did stick, very well, it didn't come loose, it didn't slide over the oil, I don't know HOW this tape can stick over OIL, but it does.I slept in it, I'm not a still sleeper, I toss and turn quite actively at night, this morning when I awoke, the 3 pieces of tape were still firmly attached, even the one over my eyebrow that I had repositioned after sticking it down the first time the night before. I peeled each piece of tape, it came off cleanly leaving no residue, and it didn't take any skin with it. My skin where the tape was wasn't irritated in any way (my skin isn't sensitive), the castor oil had absorbed into my skin.Did it do anything for my wrinkles? I can't say after just one night's worth of use, BUT I can say the tape did what it was supposed to do, it stuck to my skin even with an oil being put on my skin first. The tape kept the oil on my skin where I applied it, it didn't get into my hair, it didn't get on my pillow, it didn't migrate to other places.I will continue using this and will likely buy more as I start getting low on the second roll. The price is right, I don't feel like I have to be stingy with this tape. It was very comfortable to sleep in, not too thick or too thin, and the color is not an issue because I am wearing it to sleep in, so it's not something I am wearing out in public.

So far it's working great for mouth taping. I'm on week two of using it every night. It holds perfectly and doesn't cause any type of anxiety/panic with having my mouth taped closed. I was moved to purchase this over Hostage Tape or other name brands due to their crazy prices. I read a Reddit post where someone recommended this. Thank you, internet stranger!! This is perfectly effective and I can tell it's helping as I don't wake up with a sore throat from snoring or with a headache. While it sometimes can inadvertently wax your lip area (LOL), I'll make that sacrifice to improve my snoring.

This is GREAT for use as mouth tape for sleeping. I have been using with my CPAP and it holds strong through the night for a wide open sleep mouth breather. Does not rip out my mustache hair, is a little difficult to remove from the hair but slow and steady wins the race. On top of that... you cannot beat the price, especially for a two pack.

This is great medical tape.Sticks well but peals off easily when you need it to.

After seeing other folks comment that this product, 3M Micropore Tape 1530-1, works as "mouth tape" for sleeping, I wanted to try it. I was shopping as the brand of sleeping tape I had been getting was discontinued and this product was one of the search results. Long story short, I use it for sleeping and it works. I have some facial hair that it has to adhere to which it does, but not so severely that it's a problem to remove.

I bought this specifically for mouth taping, and it works. It does not come off at night time at all. I shave every couple of days, so it sticks directly onto the skin, I haven't tried it with a long beard/mustache yet. It is a bit hard to remove off the skin, but I am fine with that. Just remove it slowly, or add water to avoid skin irritation. I will be buying this tape in bulk. I use a CPAP machine with a nasal mask. So the combination of that mask and the mouth tape, i have guaranteed good sleep thankfully.

When using as mouth tape, I use a generous amount of lip balm before applying it to the mouth. Works perfectly and the lip balm helps to prevent the tape from sticking too much to my lips.
