I have a few other knives from Victorinox. They are all very sharp and very durable. I use this to cut fruits and vegetables. The round tip makes it safer to use.

It's a great little bread knife. Serrated edge is great for sawing through bread and sandwiches without smashing things down as a regular knife would.

I have "Global and Wustof" brand cutlery. These are great knives and expensive. The knives I use the most are made by "Victorinox." I use my 3" paring knife every day and the serrated bread knife is razor sharp and works great. They are the best and cheap compared to the others.

Man, are these SHARP! I am tempted to say dangerously so, since I never noticed when I cut myself slightly yesterday. My experience, with this and one other knife, is that the combination of really sharp and a wavy edge is particularly capable of inflicting an unintended cut.
