The media could not be loaded. I purchased this to go to Uganda on a mission trip. Needed this because you can’t fly with fuel canisters and there is nowhere there to get them to my knowledge. This packed away in a large envelope sized pouch. I would have preferred to have a stove if I could’ve, but where that is not an option this is an awesome alternative that I would highly recommend.You do have to have a good bit of small wood ready to go as it does burn up the wood pretty quickly. So just be ready to keep it fed.

Sturdy ,Fairly simple to put together, easy to light. Burns good with proper air flow from bottom . If you have good pile of sticks your set . The stove itself is a little heavy , I mainly use for day trips for a quick set up and burn with little to no trace .

I have been working with this stove for several months. I use it 5 times per month. I would not recommend it for long term use on a camping trip due to the maintenance needs. If you do not scrub the joints carefully each time, the joints accumulate char and then it is very hard to assemble/disassemble. Also it does rust so it must be dried after cleaning. If you are in a humid environment, it will rust.I am able to boil water quickly and easily. Use of the stove does require adding wood every few minutes but it is likely good to be watching it to prevent unintended fires.

I wanted to add a portable heat and cooking source for my Emergency Kit and also for my camping gear. I was pleasantly surprised with how well this has worked out for me.This stove is compact, easy to assemble, and takedown. This is not a complicated stove and you can use multiple fuel sources. The assembly is solid allowing you to cook or heat up food in various fireproof containers. So far I have used and cooked on it for a camping trip, disassembled it, and returned it back to my Emergency Box with little effort and no space. Breaks down flat to space is not an issue, the stove is also light so there is no added strain.In order to understand the range of fuel sources options, I used small wood along with fuel sticks with no issues. The amount of wood needed to keep it going was very very small. I picked enough wood around my area and lasted throughout the night.This stove also comes with a grate perfect for BBQ options or heating items. Fits great in its own carrying case.Overall, very happy with the stove.

The front and side panels went on fine then when I went to assemble the back of the stove I realized the piece was the same as the sides so someone put a wrong part in on the sellers side of things so it won’t go together in a way that the top parts/the cooking surface would lay flat. And the fire tray will not fit because the backplate is wrong. Total bummer and I have zero idea how to go about getting the backplate I should have. Update: the seller got back to me really fast thru email and they shipped me a whole new stove with the right backplate. Would highly recommend changed my rating to 5 stars.

After about 5-10 uses it warps a little making it kind of difficult to put together. It's also heavy for backpacking trips but is a good alternative to gas if you don't care about weight. It comes with a nice flat case to store it in which was a nice surprise. I'm happy with it. Very cool
