Affordable, Works Great—No More Tangles!
I have re-purchased this detangler because it works so well. My hair gets knotty after I wash it, and I use this spray to brush it smooth. It makes my hair soft, smooth and helps keep away any frizz! I love the pump spray, because it makes applying it easy breezy! I also really love the hint of smell—the scent is light and fragrant! It is also a really good buy for a great brand.

Moisturizing
Great for my son’s hair, no more tangles or tears!I’ve been using this on my son’s hair after bath time, and I really like it! His hair tends to get knotty and a little dry, but this spray makes it super easy to brush through without any fuss or complaining. It leaves his hair soft and manageable without that greasy or sticky feeling. The citrus vanilla scent is light and clean not overpowering at all, which I appreciate since it’s for kids. Plus, it’s tear-free and hypoallergenic, so I feel good using it on his sensitive scalp.Definitely a win in our nightly routine. I’ll be buying this again for sure!

Good for refreshing hair, not super hydrating
Scent is lovely, and this works well as a touch-up/refreshing spray. It does not provide a lot of long-term hydration, but it works well over a leave in or as a refreshing spray throughout the day

Sweet, light, magical detangler 4 hair disasters
Effective for detangling, even under disaster conditions--Before and after pics included.Sooo...I had a real nightmare of matted knots on my head. My hair is baby fine, very fragile, poker straight, and very thick. My sleep bonnet went missing, my brushes went missing, and I'd given up my bed to a friend in dire straits and was sleeping on a cordoroy couch. I've been narrowly avoiding foreclosure during the pandemic, and truly didn't have the money to spare to buy extras of something I *knew* I had... I just couldn't find it. I work from home, with no video conference meetings, so I typically just put my hair up and tried to find the missing items while trying not to think about the growing rat's nest on my head. The cordoroy was causing mats I couldn't guard against because of the missing bonnet, and I couldn't brush them out because I couldn't find my brush, and finger combing wasn't cutting it.This went on for weeks before I bit the bullet (yes, I routinely washed my hair-- I just couldn't brush it out)--the mats were several inches deep, thick, and wide. If a brush and detangler didn't work, I was resigned to cutting it all off. You can see a bit of how bad the problem was in the before photo.I settled the honest company's detangler, a detangler brush, and a wide toothed comb because they had good reviews, were economical, and would get here FAST. As you can see--I was approaching the point of no salvaging my hair, but I at least wanted to try.I nearly gave up a couple of times, but I finally triumphed. The scent is reminiscent of an orange creamsicle, very sweet, but not offensive to me. The formula seemed nice and lightweight, it made my hair feel softer and more moisturized, and most importantly, performed the desired task of acting like near magical WD40 for hair in loosening up and helping unsnarl even the worst knots and mats. My hair in the 'after' photo is still full of detangler--but absolutely tangle free, and you can see the dramatic difference. Aside from blocking out my face, no alterations were done to the photos. As a result, I highly recommend the honest company's detangler for tackling truly horrific hair disasters. It works and is effective.

We like this for us and our dog!
We buy this all the time. It is gentle enough to use on our dog, and helps keep him tangle free. Smells nice, too!

I mean, it's alright...
Okay, this review is for my fellow chronic illness sufferers and it's kind of long. I have fibro and HSD and that leaves me with good days and bad days. Bad days = days in bed and matted hair as a result. As I've gotten older, I've noticed my hair isn't as soft and manageable as it used to be, and the days spent in bed don't help either. It got so bad that I had to ask my daughters to help me brush it out, and I even went so far as to give myself a haircut to get rid of some split ends in hopes it would help with the tangling (it didn't).I was at my wits end because it was happening so often. So, I ordered a tangle teaser, then my adult daughter ordered a different tangle type brush for me and a satin bonnet, too. I also ordered a leave in conditioner from Aussie, then I ordered this one. At the same time, I ordered my younger daughter regular old Suave apple scented detangler (the same kind I've used on their hair when they were babies and toddlers) since she's growing her hair out but struggling to manage it. LASTLY, my adult daughter was nice enough to buy me a bottle of Milkshake brand leave-in. Are you starting to get the idea of how desperate I was to find a product that helps eliminate the matted hair?Ready for the verdict??? The 2 out of the 4 I mentioned that I would actually buy again are the Suave and Milkshake. Obviously not everyone can pay over $20 for a bottle of Milkshake but it works ridiculously well to leave hair soft and manageable for DAYS and it smells amazing (just like whipped cream). As far as Suave, it left no weird feeling in the hair and leaves the hair super soft and shiny, but I wish the smell was better. My daughter's hair is about mid back length and this morning I had a hard time putting it in a regular braid because the Suave left her hair so soft that it just wanted to slip around. No complaints. Her hair looked soft, shiny, and beautiful. Both of these products left our straight and fine (but LOTS of it) hair easily brushable with the tangle type brushes we bought. This Honest detangler smells really nice (like a creamsicle) but it leaves a weird sticky feeling when you use it. Once your hair is dry that goes away, but it just makes me wonder what it is that leaves that residue type feeling. Once my hair was dry it didn't seem soft or shiny to me and still ended up tangled in the back throughout the day. The product helped with brushing through tangles, but not as much as Suave or Milkshake. I also think the size of the product is laughable. I knew it would be a small bottle but this is literally purse sized. It's nice that it sprays as a mist instead of a stream because it covers well without wasting product. But even with the awesome smell and fine mist spray, I still wouldn't buy this product again. I'll stick with the other 2 products I mentioned...the spendy stuff for me, and the Suave for my daughter. My plan is to give this tiny bottle of Honest to her to keep in her gym bag for a hair refresh at school if she needs it after gym or sports games etc.My advice to anyone with health issues like me is that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I have been using leave-in sprays (I now plan on sticking to the one I mentioned) and keep the tangle teaser brush on my nightstand (I highly recommend the Ninabella spiral-y looking brush!) and I force myself to brush it every night before bed no matter how poor I'm feeling, and I started wearing a bonnet to bed. I've had no issues since then.Hopefully this long winded review helps someone out.
