Reliable data and charging USB-C to A cable.
I've now purchased a total of four of these Cable Matters USB-C to A cables for both work and myself. I can't believe how many low quality cables are out there, many of which are incompatible for things like external hard drives. This cable is excellent and works with everything. Sure you can use it as just a charging cable, but it's also a wonderful data cable and works great with my WD DUO drive and several microcontrollers. I use it at work as a PC to monitor connector. The cable is a little stiffer and thicker than most and the connectors are durable. If you are looking for a reliable and cost effective cable then this is a great choice.

Fixed our issue! Works as intended!
If you have a few photos to transfer from your phone to your pc its a split second and you're done. I had thousands to transfer and it did it faster than I expected. This cable works great, at 10gbps it's not the fastest cable, but I was able to transfer over 10 thousand photos from my phone in under an hour and a half. That's not to say it's the cables fault, it's probably my pc that's at fault, considering it's about 13 years old now.I highly recommend this cable so long as you don't intend to transfer massive files that are terabyte sized. If that's the case, go with a 40gbps plus cable.Best wishes!

High bandwidth.
Cable works amazing. I'm able to transfer files to my Sandisk USB NVME at around 350MB/s.

Solid. Works. Provides rated speeds.
Using it to attach a USB-C 5GbE dongle to my laptop or desktop, this unlocked the full available speed of my external network adapter.

Effective and accurate to Gen 2 spec but fragile
After only a few twists and turns manipulating the cable, it died. We ended up returning it and getting a braided cable from CableMatters which may be your better bet if you plan on the cable being manipulated at all. This cable is fairly stiff and prone to breaking.

Worked for CarPlay
After the last phone up date (Apple v18) my CarPlay no longer worked in my car. My phone would only charge. Went online tried suggestions but most didn’t work. However someone did suggest an updated cable with higher data throughput (if I’m using that term correct). So I bought this updated usba to usbc cable from Cable Matters and it fixed the issues and has been working since. I’ve bought from this company before and their prices are good and products have been great. Recommend company and product.

Legit cable
I used a tester as soon as I received it. This proved to be as advertised.

Best performing, most reliable, fast, USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable out there
My astrophotography hobby results in my using dozens of USB cables of various flavors, connector types, speeds, and lengths, under extreme hot and cold temperatures, and with dozens of devices all interconnected, including multiple powered and unpowered hubs. A lot of the gear can be very twitchy and finnicky. So far, these are the only USB cables I have never had any problem with and I get advertised transfer rates with them.
