Has anyone tried this before a long run? How did it work?

Yes, I have tried this before a spartan beast approx 12 miles in the middle of July taking about 4 hrs to complete. It worked well. I would suggest depending on the miles you are running, a gel pack during your run I utilize this product before, during, and post workouts I would strongly recommend this product for anyone who needs a quick absorbing carb.

Is this product vegan?

Yes! I called the company and they said it has properties of potato, rice, and corn. No animal derivatives.

Is you product 3rd party tested for purity?
