Great picture quality, and smooth focus with an issue
Image quality was perfect, and the build quality is phenomenal at this price point. I had an issue with my Varicam though, it had a lot of trouble mounting and unmounting from the lens mount. The back metal portion seems to get stuck, when I've had no issues with any other PL mount lenses.

First Lens For Testing(cause i know nothing about lenses)
as someone who is new to this field, the lens feels solid as hell. maybe aluminum body material? focus and aperture turn with the buttery slickness. focus does go past infinity BUT there are shims to correct this and im scared to do it but im gonna. worst case im gonna take it to Precision Camera if i think i mess up. also comes with tools too

Beyond happy!
I have to say, this lens blows me away! I am a camera director and use B4 mount broadcast lenses everyday so I feel that my standards for image are fairly high. This lens is so crisp, smooth and just all around a joy. I must have spend the first 2 hours with it rolling the focus and drooling watching the focus peaking just glide through the room effortlessly. If you are on the fence, take it from me and by one. You’ll wish you had long ago.Please note this is the only true PL mount Cine lens I have ever used.
