Awful Experience
Worst delivery experience EVER. I have ordered 3. The item is not an exact fit, so I was looking to see how I could make it work for my truck. The first one I ordered was sold as open box so it was discounted. It turned out it was a descent fit and I could make it work, but it was the color on sale and not the best one. So I ordered one the next day in black sold as new. It was delivered but was UNUSABLE (likely previously used and had cut threads). I had to return the black one but I made a mistake and returned the good one yellow stripe model (MY FAULT). So I ordered another one in the first color pattern figuring I would just dye the yellow strip and use different thread. This one came in sold as new but the box was empty!! Well it had a lug nut inside and a black tube of some sort.

You will not be disappointed!
I recently purchased a steering wheel cover from Amazon, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The product arrived promptly, which was a good start. However, I found the installation process to be a bit challenging. It took me about an hour and a half to complete, but that was because I was being meticulous and ensuring I didn’t miss any steps. One thing to note is that the cover didn’t come with instructions, but there are plenty of helpful tutorials on YouTube if you need guidance. So, my advice is to do some research beforehand. Patience is key during installation; the more careful and patient you are, the better the end result will be.Overall, I’d give this product a perfect 10 out of 10. The quality of the suede is fantastic, and there was more than enough string provided to complete the stitching. I would definitely purchase this again for other steering wheels.

Ok, but not great
First let me say the feel of the microsuede is pretty good; it is pleasant to the touch. The color is good, as well. It seems sturdy, and didn’t tear when aggressively pulling on the threads during install. Now on to the not-so-good stuff. The cut is not perfect. It struggles to pull over the full thickness of the Tesla steering wheel in some places, and in other places there’s just a bit too much material (mainly at the top of the 3-o’clock/9-o’clock posts). This made stitching those positions difficult, and even some wrinkling/bunches on the top of the 3-o’clock side (even stitched as tight as possible) - I’d literally have to make my own holes to correct this.I mentioned the feel was good. Well, not all of it. The supplied thread feels awful. It is plenty strong, which is good, but it has such an unpleasant feel to the touch it really makes me doubt this purchase. The thing is, since the cover is not sized perfectly there tends to be a lot of this thread exposed to the fingers, which means you’re constantly touching it when driving, and it feels terrible! I am really considering buying some higher quality thread and replacing this stuff when I have time; it’s that bad.Speaking of this thread, let me also say that when installing you really don’t want to make a mistake with this thread. If you need to unthread it it will shave, untwist, get rough, lose its shine, and look and feel even worse. It’s a good thing they supply you with so much because I ended up rethreading sections and throwing a lot of it away.To end on a high note, I’ll say this: the kit does come with everything you need. The tools were sufficient, there was plenty enough thread, you won’t need to go get other tools.I really want to love this kit, but really it’s just ok. It is just not refined enough for me to highly recommend. Don’t know how long I’ll keep this on my wheel; probably ‘til it prematurely wears out. Who knows.

Looks and feels great
My steering wheel was peeling off. And I didn’t want something bulky so this was the only option for me. It gives it that oem look. Once you get the hang of the stitching it’s pretty straight forward. Just allow yourself 2-3 hours. I did it in about an hour and a half. Definitely worth it.

So comfortable,100% worth it
Feels so much more comfortable than the regular wheel. Heated steering wheel still works great though not quite as strong. You won’t need it as much though since the Alcantara isn’t cold to the touch like the original wheel. Took a couple hours to sew together, but the provided YouTube video makes it very simple and it was not as hard as I thought it would be. Would 100% do it again, definitely worth $70.

Overall good quality
Overall great quality. All tools were included and gave ample amount of string.Only negative was that the string was fading in color and was releasing a white powder that was sticking to the suede. Would recommend having better quality strong that didn’t fade and release the white powder.
