Amazing engineering! I had a lot of concern about how well it would survive Idaho winters but prior purchasers assured me I wouldn’t regret buying it. We bought the medium size and it fits perfectly in the space we measured. It looks and feels delicate but it’s waxed and hard at work.

This is the third Cosmix 17" wind ornament I've purchased-one for myself, and loving it so, bought two more as gifts. It looks beautiful in my garden hanging from a high tree branch via fishing line and a swivel and to prevent discoloration of the copper plating, I sprayed it twice with Minwax Helmsman Clear Spar Urethane. It hung outdoors all of last year and I did bring it in for the winter. It's outside again, looking great, twirling in the slightest breeze! This will be my "go-to" gift for my lucky recipients. BTW, it comes nicely packed in a pretty beige/dark green swirl gift box from the manufacturer so you won't have to gift it in an Amazon cardboard shipping box:) A nice gold ribbon and bow looks perfect!

My deceased husband gave me a similar wind sculpture. I loved it and had it for years. When it came apart, I was delighted to find this one to replace it. I think of him each time I look at it. ❤️

This spinner arrived lightning fast. The copper coating (or whatever it is) was chipping off onto my hands as I removed it from the package. It's cheaply made (very light and the metal very thin), but it does look pretty as it spins on our front porch. You get what you pay for, I guess. We plan to coat it with car wax as the instructions recommend to avoid water pitting. Hopefully it'll last through the summer because it is pretty to watch. We plan to buy a real copper spinner in the future, but this'll suffice until then.

I ordered the "medium" copper double helix wind spinner, and it was the perfect size. Some reviewers mentioned the 20" being better but I don't think I would want any larger than this, certainly not for my spot at the corner of my deck. I think mine is the 14" as it looks to be just over a foot tall and wide. It makes a statement! I didn't spray or coat with polyurethane as I don't mind if it develops an aged look - a few rust spots, or a patina. It was well constructed yet thin and light enough to immediately spin even in a light breeze. Both spinners move easily, but I have used W-D40 or a similar lubricant on other spinners if they stall and that usually solves the problem. When it really gets going I can't tell if the inner and outer spinners are moving in different directions from each other, and it wouldn't matter as the helix shape makes it hard to follow -- which delights the eye and makes you keep watching. I've had compliments from everyone who has seen it. Delivery was fast, and the packing protected the spinner. I hung it directly from the box; it comes with a free-spinning hanger already attached (no need to buy a separate one).

Just receivced this. Wow! Love this!!!!! Goes with my copper rain chain perfectly. Instructions recommend waxing it with car wax to preserve the finish....which I have not yet done, so haven't hung. I will hang outside my hearth room window so I can watch it. The movement is beautiful. Highly recommend. I will bring inside during the winter midwest winters. Not sure how it would do covered in ice and snow.

This is absolutely beautiful in our yard. The inner and outer spinners appear to go in different directions which really draws the eye. I will be buying one for my mother for the holidays since she loves our so much.3/14 updated review:We have had a horrible winter and I forgot to bring this inside. It has held up beautifully! This is beautiful! We live in a very windy area and our previous expensive wind spinner, which also was beautiful, fell apart on a very windy day. This beauty just twirls and spins and keeps yp with the biggest wind!
