Not Solar but that’s ok.
Bought this to replace our not charging eco (solar) remote. I thought it also was a solar one but when I got it I saw it was not. No biggy, I got batteries. Popped them in, pushed power and the TV fired up! Works just like the original.

Battery doesn't charge
We have Samsung frame tv's. Each one has this remote. Been great with the ones that came with the tv. Unfortunately, our dog thought it looked like something to chew on and busted it up badly. So I bought this one from amazon as a replacement. As luck would have it, the solar pat doesn't charge the battery (yes the film of plastic on the back covering the solar cell was removed just as the instructions tell us to). So we charged it using the cord. Even more disappointing as the battery charge lasts for only two days. This particular supplier I suspect has some very old stock which lends to the poor battery performance. For $100+ tv remote, this shouldn't be happening. I now will drive 35 miles (oneway) to the nearest location that has one in their storefront to buy yet again.

Don't buy it
If I could this remote zero stars I would. You have press the buttons multiple times for it to work.
