Bought 8 months ago and seemed to work well but has now failed, a few minutes after 'fully charged' it says 'battery power low' and shuts down. The original battery lasted much longer and only failed to hold a charge gradually.

Battery was discharging in just a few hours. Even though I followed instructions on the package? A return and refund was accepted. but on the paper work to be sent back with the return was a recommendation to try first before returning? So thought I would give it a go. it suggested and I quote "to discharge & charge the battery fully at least 5 times to recondition the cells". It does appear to have worked? so I cancelled the return, time will tell? It may be prudent for the supplier to put this information in the package when it is shipped to a customer? Hope this helps someone else, that has found a similar discharge issue.

I bought this item 18 months ago for use in my emergency phone. As such it doesn't get a lot of use and it used to last a whole week from a single charge.Recently, endurance has fallen off a cliff.The first 50% of capacity lasted 3 days.The remaining 50% barely made 1 more day.Now it only takes 700mAh to fully charge a battery with a nominal capacity of 1500mAh.
