Great to keep the flies at bay
One of the best fly sprays I’ve tried for the ponies. Spray is quiet too for the horses that don’t like them

Natural Ingredients
This Biteback ‘Superfly Sensitive’ Insect Repellent Spray is a welcome addition to our anti midge arsenal as we have a real day to day problem with them amongst other flying biting insects. This spray contains 100% natural ingredients - Icaridin, Picaridin and Nettle Oil. These are ideal for sensitive skin and I have had no irritation from using this spray, You get 500ml in the spray bottle and according to the listing it has extended protection giving over 8 hours defence against midges, mosquitoes and black flies, and at least 5 hours protection from stable and horse flies. It is great not to have to keep reapplying the spray which is the norm with my usual insect repellent. It is early days yet in using this product but so far so good.

Seems effective for use on livestock.
Price at time of review was £25 for the 500ml of this insect repellent formulated for horses and ponies. The Amazon listing was maybe generated by an AI, hence the dubious advice of "test on an inconspicuous area (e.g armpit) before first use". That said, the ingredient list such as Icaridin is considered safe for humans so you should be OK spraying this on animals which are then ridden or if you get on your hands. There's no unpleasant chemical aroma and the chemical shouldn't damage tack. Early in the season for flies but seems effective. Shame it's quite pricey for 500ml.

Great stuff.
I have got to be honest, I do like Biteback products, and generally they do work well.I'm interested to try this as my horse has sensitive skin. He also has half a missing mane in the summer too!! Although, I'm still waiting for summer to arrive!I know this may be nuts, but I like this product as it is an opaque solution with some density to it. This gives me some confidence that it's going to stay put, and that it actually has something in it! I'm full of flu at the moment and there is some scent I can detect, but only just - so if there is a smell element... I also like the spray dispenser as I can get it on properly and to a consistent coat like sun lotion! I am also using this in conjunction with the sweet itch cream. So far it has gone on his skin with no issues and I'll be back to update on the fly front.

Works well, on horses and humans.
This is a fairly thick white liquid that has a fairly innocuous smell to it.Spray or direct jet, it seems to work well to keep flies and the like off my horse. Spraying before tacking up I noticed there were far fewer flies around afterwards. Obviously not perfect, but seems to work. The liquid is a little oily, so won't wash off too quickly. I've used it on myself when working in the garden (it stated it's human friendly) and the gnats stayed off and there wasn't any irritation on my skin afterwards.A bit expensive (anything horse-related invariably is) but certainly works.

Equine insect repellent spray
This 500ml pump action spray bottle holds a lot of promise for the Summer months. It is a heavier than water, opaque liquid spray that is formulated specifically for sensitive skin.We have had it a month to test but the Summer and it's usual plague of flies have yet to arrive this year so I have not been able to give it a real world test yet!My partner is a fan of this trusted brand and has used their products successfully in the past. She is happy this will do everything that it claims perfectly well.My only concern is that I am unenthusiastic about the current price of it, if she gets on well with it I will have to keep a watch on it and wait for a special offer on it!Happy to help!
