Expensive little buggers, but man.. they WORK. I've been using spring/split washers on my hitch tightener bolts for years, and I've just grown accustomed to checking/re-torquing the bolts every 800-1000 miles due them them working themselves loose from the vibrations of driving down the road. So I switched to Nordlocks based on a recommendation I saw on a YouTube video, and WOW, I torque them in my driveway before we set out on a long trip, and they stay just as tight as I set them for thousands of miles, and a week's worth of pounding highway miles, through rain, sun, sleet, snow, heat, and subzero cold.. until the moment we return home and I'm ready to disconnect the trailer, and I still have to give them a good bit of leverage to break them loose and get past the serrations to spin the nuts off! Expensive, but worth the money when the potential for vibration/movement exists!

I've been using these for years on CV joints on an off road buggy. The driver side CV would constantly come loose before I started using Nordlocks. Since I've been using them not one bolt has come loose. If your having issues with bolts working themselves loose, this will solve your problem.

great invention, installed mine on my truck ladder rack and it seem to be holding on tight, have not noticed any problems. would highly recommend.
