Using in a 300 sq ft RV in FL and pulls 1/2 gal of water from the air each day when set to 50%. If we set it lower, I'm sure it would pull more since it doesn't run continuously. This unit is small compared to traditional dehumidifiers, but it is a beast while still being quiet, especially the with fan set to Low. Love the look of the unit and small footprint. The air blows out from the top and to the left when looking at the front of the unit. Just hooked it up with the included hose for continuous draining and within a couple minutes you can see the water moving down the hose. Had one minor issue and Customer Service responded the next day and resolved our issue. Unlike many of the dehumidifiers on Amazon, Waykar also makes large, commercial dehumidifiers, has a company website, and it's HQ in the US. We wouldn't hesitate to purchase a Waykar again.

We chose this model based on the reviews and the unit works fabulously, getting humidity down to 35%. It works great for small- large rooms and it is well constructed and easy to use. If you want to get an entire basement below 50% humidity you may want a slightly more powerful model, however.

I was very pleased with this machine during its 16 month lifespan. It was a powerhouse in my approx. 800 square foot basement apartment. It's quite loud (when you're in the same room as it) but tolerable as the noise was just pushed air with no overbearing motor sound. Like a powerful floor fan on high. Unfortunately it suddenly started freezing over, rendering it almost completely ineffective.Even though I was 4 months out of warranty, I figured it wouldn't hurt to reach out to Waykar. After some back and forth via email, it was determined that the machine was toast. They offered me a brand new unit even though they had zero obligation to do so. They suggested a different model which I did try, but it didn't work out in my space. They've now offered me another model as sadly this one is out of stock. My fingers are crossed I will like it as much as I did this one and that I will get more than a year's use of it! I am fully confident that their amazing customer service will be there to help me should I experience any problems again. It's due to that customer service that I would recommend this brand to others. They obviously care greatly about their customers satisfaction. Such a thing seems to be rare these days.

I live in Galveston, TX where the humidity rarely falls below 80%. During the summer humidity is 90-100% daily...Since purchase at the beginning of last summer the dehumidifier has ran almost continuously keeping the humidity in my studio easily at or below 50%. It is a very powerful (and quiet) dehumidifier.I had a minor problem with this unit, but Waykar's customer support team has gone over and above to take care of the issue and truly cares for the satisfaction and happiness of their customers.Waykar is your go-to for affordable and dependable dehumidifiers.I highly recommend these dehumidifiers and this company.
