I started using these boxes a few months ago for my heart cakes that I make. I have since started using them for all of my cakes!!!I wanted to start by addressing some of the negative reviews. One review stated that these boxes are not clear; that they are cloudy and foggy.Please understand that there is a plastic protector layer that has to be peeled off. This is necessary to keep the plastic clean and lint free prior to use as the plastic does attract fine hairs and things. This buyer must not have realized that they had to remove the film.Secondly, another reviewer said that the top is "literally plastic" well, I don't know about you, but the photos and the description of this box are pretty clear in showing that the lid is plastic.Another reviewer stated that the box is flimsy and hard to put onto the base, and I have a few things to say about this. 1. The foam/board base is VERY sturdy to the point that you don't even need to use a cake drum at all. It acts as a cake drum. The plastic cover acts as a protector against lint in the air,contaminants while transporting, of course the lid isn't sturdy because most people don't go around tossing their cake in the air or smashing things on top of it. The cake is to be carried by the bottom (The base) which if you purchase this, you'll see is VERY sturdy.Now I will say that putting the lid on can be slightly challenging to do without touching the cake, but not so challenging that my 9 year old son can't figure it out. It's not THAT difficult.Lastly another review mentioned the ribbon being "useless" which is also such a silly review to me.All I can say is I will definitely be thinking twice about negative reviews in the future, you have to remember that just because a person can write a legible review on a product, doesn't mean they use their brain at full capacity. The boxes are great, and save you money on cake drums. Not only that, but I get so many compliments on the way that these cake boxes look when I deliver to customers. They looks so incredibly professional and I'm always proud to deliver my cakes in them.

I absolutely adore these cake boxes! I recently started charging for my cakes (I was just doing them for free with a basic cardboard box with cling wrap covering the top.. haha it worked). I feel like these boxes for $5 each really add value and a quality touch to the cake and look professional. They are not time consuming to set up and taking the film off is easy if you start with one corner, they might be a little flimsy but they aren’t meant to withstand lots of moving around (most cake boxes aren’t). The size is perfect if you use a small 10in diameter round base. The plastic is thin enough to bend easy and form the box easy. The white color is simple and doesn’t distract from the cake ☺️ Buy them!

These are so gorgeous! There’s a protective film you must remove on all sides and surfaces. After that they are crystal clear and so pretty! Love them for my heart cakes.

If you're like me and don't read directions then you're gonna be like what the heck these are NOT clear, they're opaque!! But rest assured they have a protective film on both sides of them that need to be peeled off!! Peel and BAM you got nice little boxes to use!! Love these

They are nice and clear if you follow instructions. They had a bend to them so they were tricky to get onto the base. This was not something I wanted to deal with when there was a cake on the stand. It would be 5 star if it wasn’t for that and the ribbon. The ribbon is very cheap and frayed easily not just on the ends but wherever it was stretched when tying the bow or placing it around the box.

These boxes add another level of elegance for not much more than comparably sized alternatives. They are easy to put together. The film comes off easily for a clean look at delivery to the client.

I needed to transport a cake an hour. This box was a dream. It was tall enough for a pretty tall five layer cake.The cake looked very professional and assembly was fairly easy once you removed the plastic protective layer that needs to be peeled off.Great cake box, will definitely order again.
