Impressive Little Unit!
The media could not be loaded. This is a great little item! Not too big and bulky. Lightweight and has a nice handle to carry it. It kind of reminds me of a cheese grater in size and shape. Has a built in base and comes with an adjustable Velcro strap for hanging it up. This unit lights up the whole room with a warm soft light; maybe not to a task lighting brightness, but you can definitely use it to light your room and still function quite normally in a power outage. Most people should find it adequate for reading as it is brighter than my little clip-on book lights. I see there are reviews talking about no power button, but mine has one; so I don't know if they changed something or what -- but I can honestly say the power button works 100% for me. The power button is more of a touch sensitive button, not one you push in and out with any type of force. The button will adjust from low to high and vice-versa when you touch and hold contact; and a quick, gentle tap turns it on and off. It resumes to the last brightness level when you turn it on and off. So if it's on high when you turn it off, the next time you turn it on, it will be on high. It's super, super simple. The little indicator light comes on and turns red while charging so you can tell when it is getting enough light to charge it. It turns green when full or on, and blinks red when battery is low. You can charge it via the built-in solar panels or for faster charging you can charge it with the little USB-C cord it comes with. *Please note, the USB-C is input only; you CANNOT use it as a charger for your phone or other devices.* You can charge the unit in sunny or overcast weather but, of course, the speed of charging is going to change based upon the brightness. The battery is 4400 mAh and brightness is 60 lm low and 280 lm high. I haven't actually needed to use it long enough in one use to run the battery fully down, but it really lasts a long time when used from a full charge. In my best guess, you have probably 8 to 10 hours off a full charge depending upon brightness level. You can use it outdoors, so they are great for camping. I absolutely recommend! Since they can charge themselves on solar, I will be buying these as gifts for my family so that I know they will always have a light source on hand in case of an emergency power outage situation.

Solid purchase, great for camping, well made and great performance
I've been collecting a haphazard selection of solar/rechargeable lights for camping and I was very pleasantly surprised by this purchase. The light is wonderfully diffuse - not a single small point of light, but the entire body of the product - so there's fewer harsh shadows and more of a warm enveloping glow. The adjustable intensity works very well and is very intuitive. The amount of light time you get from a single charge, especially on the lowest intensity, is wonderful. I really like that I can charge it with the interior solar panel if I want, but otherwise the panel is completely hidden. I wish I had gotten the two pack, to be honest, but next time I will - I'd really like these to be our main camping light solution.

A great addition to your emergency supply kit.
I have not an occasion to use the lights during a power failure but am very happy to know that they will always be available when the need arises. I chose these lights for their ability to recharge by sunlight in case the power is off for several nights during a catastrophic weather event. The function modes perform as expected. Easy to use and gives more than adequate light for reading and any other activity when you are in a darkened space. I love that the lights can be hung if need be and the carrying handle is very comfortable. This is a great product and takes up very little space in your emergency kit. Yes, I definitely recommend them. An extra plus is the extension of the warranty when you send your purchase details by email to the manufacturer.

Compact and Very Bright
This is a great lamp. Charging was fast and easy, open it up and leave it in the sun. I was surprised by how much light it gave off, really lit up a medium size room. Will be great for camping or power outages. I'll be picking up more.

Great lamp for camping without power. Solar charges up fast
This lamp is exactly what I was hoping for. The light is bright enough to read by, or play cards, whatever, but not comparable to one of the old fashioned propane lanterns. Still, provides a nice light for the evenings and the two solar panels charged it up every day. Perfect for extended camping without power. The design is great for putting on a table, or hanging from the ceiling. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that as others have mentioned, turning it off can be a little wonky. To control the dimming function, you hold the button down. To turn off, you do a quick press and release of the button. The "off" action works most of the time. But every so often I had to do that quick press action several times before the lamp would finally turn off.Would I recommend this lamp, yes. I'm glad I purchased it.

Tap and they're ready!
These lanterns are awesome! No batteries to remove when not in use. Chargeable via solar or usb. They are instant on and dimmable. At full they light up a whole room. They are so attractive, you can leave them out at the ready when power goes out. A simple tap and they're on! Very happy.
