Q: Do these lights have a timer setting?

No they don’t, however my husband set these lights with a plug in timer which can be set to turn on at dual times. For example, they turn on around 5 pm and off at 10 pm and then again to turn on at 4:30 AM then off at 7 AM.

Q: The instructions from the connecting app (tuyasmart) says reset the lights (they will blink) to connect to google assnt. how do i reset the lights?

First try taking the batteries out of the remote and then after a few minutes replace them, then unplug the power to the controller for a few minutes, then power it back on. Hopefully this will help. That will possibly reset them. Let me know if it works?
