My husband bought this hair trimmer because he was tired of paying for high-priced haircuts. If he only uses it twice, it's paid for itself!This trimmer does the job. It's convenient to hold, the cutting heads are easy to put on, and it's easy to use overall. He found that he can't cut the back of his hair, so he enlisted me for that job. He might buy a hand mirror to try to cut the back by himself. Hopefully, his technique will improve with time and practice. The box is an easy way to store the parts.His only complaint? The instructions lack clarity and are not easy to understand, so he found a video online for a better explanation on how to cut hair. The kit comes with a container of oil, but nowhere in the instructions does it say anything about the use of the oil. Aside from that, he's pleased with this purchase.

Strong motor and extension handle very handy when trimming back of head. Nice variety of guide sizes.

Liked the product design. Dislike the charging port placement due to the extended handle capability. If you leave the hand in the extended handle or not fully retracted than your cable (type c) which is correct type wont be able to reach the charging port. I think thats why some uers were thinking that the charger or port was not charging. I was about to send the unit back due to the same reason as some users stated, after a month when first purchased as I couldn't charge. It seems that the port was not reaching the cable, or the cable maybe incorrect....but the actualy problem was not the port or cable, it was just that the extended handle was not fully retracted back.Make sure the extended handle is fully retracked back, otherwise your cable wont reach the port and make a snug fit, hence wont charge the unti.Only gave 1 star so that potential buyers can see that if you dont retract the handle fully you wont be able to charge the unit. Will change the rating to 5 star. Thank you.Dec 2023: Bought a second unit as a backup. I dont see this style of trimmer with a decent price. Works perfect for my beard edging.

Bought while waiting for a replacement blade for my more expensive Panasonic version of this and was quite surprised. love this style of body trimmer works fantastic. Great purchase ! Now I have a back up

I've had the TV "Titanium" trimmer shaped like this for a few years and liked it, but when I let my beard go an entire week it struggled and I had to go slowly to make it trim properly. I like a very short, unshaven look, the length of the bare blade on the trimmer. This trimmer beats the Ti hands down for speed no matter how long my stubble is and didn't irritate my face and neck like the Ti brand. As some have mentioned, you do have to make sure the unit is pushed firmly into the base and the charging plug is pushed firmly in while holding the top so it doesn't move away from it. The charing light is a little hard to see and you have to hold the handle at an angle to see. That being said, the performance is worth it for a super quick trim (half the time of the Ti, because I didn't have to nurse this one along - it makes quick work of stubble, turning it into a fine powder) with no irritation.

Bought in December 2023, it was working for a few times. Tried to use it again yesterday but it won't charge anymore, even with the handle fully retracted as suggested by some users. Update: finally figured out to make the battery charged, you have to remove the bottom cap because the charging cable cannot reach all the way connecting firmly due to the design slope shape (see picture). It could also be due to cheap plastic material that expanded over time making it difficult to connect correctly.
