This fan makes a lot of wind.

I looked at several fans for our 2 car garage gym project including an Air King ceiling mount, unfortunately that one is not designed to mount to standard home floor trusses. We opted for the floor pedestal oscillating and narrowed it down to this one from Global Industrial. It is July in Georgia, the garage is HOT. This fan cools it immediately! On low setting it cools the whole place down, it moves air like a beast! I would not call it quiet, but at this amount of power I wouldn't expect ultra quiet. However, there is no rattling, it's built strong and blows strong. Love it and highly recommend it! Note: it requires a moderate amount of assembly, wrench turning mostly, some phillips head, some of the directions are not super clear so just take your time, shouldn't take more than an hour. I had a problem with one hex bolt and GI shipped me an entire new set of hardware immediately, excellent customer service.

I purchased this fan to help cool my 1200 sq ft shop. The fan is a little pricey compared to some other 30” fans but look at the CFM rating. This thing is rated at 10,000 CFM! It took me 20 minutes to assemble the fan. All the parts seem high quality and built to be durable. I switched it on in low speed. Impressive even on low. Now up to high speed. Wow! Impressive! It is noisy but I expected it to be. It’s also heavy but it should be. I have it on a dolly for now so I can roll it around. I’m going to wheels on it at some point. Oh, I forgot to tell about the oscillating function. It works great if you want it and you can turn it off when you don’t want it. Impressive fan that I highly recommend!Nick in NC

This fan ran only in the Spring and Summer. It ran for approximately 1 year and a month. Maybe a total of 120 days if that. Huge waste of money. Still looks brand new, but will not power up.

Tend to get "overheated" slightly in 1st gear though, but still good after 1 month of 24/7 uses...

I love this fan it is badass and that should sum it up!

I have several 1/3HP Air King fans that are significantly more expensive that this one. They have been up and running fantastic for many years. I cannot say that about this fan because I just got it. I can say that it seems to move as much or more air, at a significantly cheaper price, offers more vertical adjustment, has the oscillation feature where the AK doesn't, and is a hell of a lot better looking.
