It's a nicely made hat, very light with a Thinsulate lining and the price was excellent. It says "one size fits all" but you don't have to be a giant to show that this isn't really true. I have a large head and really the hat only just fits. I would say this would be completely OK for small or medium sized head, male or female, but it's a bit of a stretch (literally) for someone used to wearing XL headgear.
